If I were the Police investigating this so called crime I would have given the innkeeper the 500 yen and sent this old man on his way its possible this old man was broke maybe even homeless and in a country like Japan no one should have to go without a meal besides let leave the space in the jails at the police station for real violent criminals. This is a sign of real human stupidity to me may this poor unfortunate person RIP.

Robing a person of their most prized possession "THEIR LIFE" is in my thoughts cruel and unusual punishment so even though I don't know have to feel for the perpetrator I side with the victim but I also know that an eye for an eye will at some point leave a person blind.

There are already enough Nuclear Weapons on Planet Earth to turn it into a pebble floating in space Trump has once again shown just how stupid, stupid really is. We can only hope that he doesn't get elected and that cooler heads prevail.

Posted in: Trump warns of riots if he is denied party's presidential nomination See in context

This because his own Republican party doesn't want him and if he doesn't get what he wants he'll be just as happy to send out subliminal messages to his followers that this is what they should do next. Riot !!!

I'm afraid here that now the whole world knows that in the American Republican Party the lunatics have now taken over the asylum.

As always I love my country the United States of America....I just don't like the scene.

Posted in: Abe says Japan cannot do without nuclear power See in context

Abe should be thinking about cleaning up the old mess in Fukushima before starting a new mess. The big problem is the Fukushima power plant is still leaking radioactive water and from what I hear won't be totally cleaned up and under control for another 4 to 5 years he should be giving out Government Sponsored Solar Cell to the people of Japan but as we all know you can't make $$MONEY$$ off the sun. Abe is old school.

Posted in: TEPCO: 4 more years needed to stop radioactive water leaks at Fukushima See in context

When you have radioactive water leaking into the worlds oceans it's no longer a TEPCO/Japanese problem it is a world problem that calls for world action. What we all don't eat fish from our oceans. Time has come for the world and all countries to take action and bring this worldwide disaster to an end 4 more years is way to long. What happens if there is another earthquake in the mean time. Why haven't other countries come to Japan's aide and done anything about this disaster. What about the children effected by this leak. I'm sorry but this is why no other nuclear power plant should be let back online again....THINK PEOPLE !!!!

Posted in: Would you like to see Donald Trump become the next U.S. president? See in context

No, Trump should not become President, I'd move to Japan....Oh wait, I'm already living in Japan. Trump has all of his voters thinking that by spending BILLION's on building a wall to keep Mexicans out that that will work but the Mexican are very enterprising people they'll buy $20.00 shovels and build tunnels under the tunnel much like the Drug Cartels do. Trumps friends will be the only ones making money he even says all others will be paid minimum wages, he might have some people fooled but not me.

There were many things that broke up the Beatles and Yoko wasn't one of them the main thing was that they grew up and wanted a life for themselves and Alan Klein who Paul didn't like very much.

Posted in: The dark side of the food industry See in context

Hey folks a few thing that I noticed while shopping at the supermarkets here in Japan (I'm American and have been here 2 years) is that the safest foods in the market are located at its boundaries ...Against the walls i.e. fresh fruits and veggies, bakery items & dairy products I think that the owners of these markets must have visited an American markets because they are much the same, stay away from frozen, and canned foods also watch your receipts I have been over charged many time and besides having the hassle of getting my money back and the usual we are sorry it takes a lot of time to prove it. I pride myself on being a good consumer even here in Japan which surprises the Japanese people I have come into contact with because no one seems to say anything much after being ripped off.
