He's being arrested on what grounds? It's not his fault the government cronies made a mistake. Are the ones responsible for the wrong transfer being fired and arrested too?

Did you even check the news? is all over everywhere. When the deposit was made the town official went to his home the day to notice about the mistake. He seem to be cooperative at first to return money but change his mind the day that he need time or some other excuse after that no news from him even his Mom ask him to return it. Yes of course! he will get arrested and fired.

Seems like the omicron cat is now freely out of the bag. It's a shame that Japan wasted its two month run up by not boosting those at risk. Actually more of a disgrace than shame.

Getting booster shot wont stop you getting it. Did you ever check news before commenting? Have you ever see someone or hear someone die from Omicron i guess NOT!

My biggest problem the design is hot mess! by incorporating too much elements and doesn't have any focus direction. The horrible fake tattoo make it even more worse. If you want tattoo better to do more effort to make it a piece of art by hiring some great talented Tattoo artist so they can contribute make the overall design even better. What a shame.

Dont waste your time about it. He is too unhappy and negative about whole situation. Am just glad right now that the situation pretty normal here in Tokyo and all business will recover.

This is quite suspicious. The number plans to get lower and lower each day right before the election day. I have been talking to my Japanese colleagues about these numbers, and they also do not believe them.

It is not just the foreigners who believe the J-gov is manipulating the numbers.

*If that so? What i can tell you! That my company who have 300 employees all fully vaccinated. Everybody until now still must wear mask, must remove shoes and wash hands often at work. the result we have Zero case so far. I believe also other company i know are doing the same. This is team effort and everyone should be more positive about the situation.*

Euro DudeToday  01:04 pm JST

Seems like a bs story. I once had 400,000¥ in a big long wallet in order to pay my taxes, and let me tell you, could barely fitt inside all those 10k bills. No way 1 million could fitt into one. And she had to brag on social media. Common!

What are you talking about! Did you check his wallet yourself? As owner distribution business in japan i usually carry over 1 million to 2 million with no issue inside special pouch wallet which i use daily but with many distraction at the market am myself include can sometime forget about the wallet my colleague always remind me.I dont see anything wrong about this story.

I am not sure why wish Japan to be in bad situation more than now and your comments are always negative about the situation. Dont you wish to be more positive for Japanese people to overcome this situation and everything go back to normal? This past few months was hard for everyone. Seem you enjoy complaining almost as much as they enjoy doing nothing about it.

Posted in: New Zealand could pull off bold goal of eliminating virus See in context

As far as New Zealand. they had many things in their favor, especially a very small population, their isolated location and the decision to ban travel (which the WHO said was unnecessary- so good call there)

Once people start visiting again, they might not have such favorable conditions to operate in.

But as with any country and any people, I wish the best for their efforts.

New Zealand Population is around 4.8 millions compare to US 330 millions and Japan 126 millions. This is completely different level how each country to contain pandemic situation. I see comments here that people enjoy complaining almost as much as they enjoy doing nothing about it.
