For those 20% that voted NO... So the world stops bombing... OK..You don't think YOUR way of life WILL be affected... Or are you the type of people that say or believe Nothing will happen to me.. We as the world need to end this... OR ALL of lives might be affected in one way or another..

I agree with Jerseyboy, here is another example of Japan being 20 years behind the rest of the world. And they wonder why their country is going to crap. I say let them get on the list... let them get fined.. Lets get the world to know and understand that Japan doesn't want to play with other countries and do things that the modern countries do.

Posted in: Doctors perform cataract surgery on patient's wrong eye See in context

The main mistake is with the hospital, BUT also with the patient... I had both eyes fixed for my cataracts and both times, the doctors and nurses repeatedly asked me to verify the eye that was going to be worked on. I EVEN made sure it was the correct eye. The patient should of told the doctors that there was a mistake... before hand. What's crazy is that Japanese don't know how to question people.... they just think that they know nothing and that the doctors are perfect... Well this is what happens when patients don't question.

My God, can these countries JUST get over the war.. Yes, it happened, Yes, Japan was ruthless, Yes, people got killed and yes, islands were taken over... Please for the love of the rest of the world that has to deal with counties like this.... MOVE ON... please.

I foresee in 100+ years, this will still go on... it's just a bunch of countries bickering at each other... reminding each other a few times a year, that what they did was bad..

Posted in: Bill to revise referendum law passed in lower house See in context

My God Japan, no wonder it takes FOREVER for you to change anything, or get anything new started.. First you debate for a heck of long time... then you finally approve it, then you have to analyze it more, by "getting the word out and going to the streets"... then you debate the "on the street finding".. then you vote again in the diet... Keep this up and you will continue to get sidelined and past up by other countries..

Japan calls ANY storm a typhoon... it's funny.. I'm in Okinawa and it's a little windy but not much of a storm so far. Actually around 6 pm, there were pretty NO clouds in the sky.

Posted in: Man gets 7 years for killing two kids with car See in context

To darknuts... What?? you really think running a red light was NOT intentional? I have to very much disagree.. all these Japanese driver out here that run red lights... are knowingly disregarding the rules.. laws whatever you may call them. And I have to ask everyone here... if this was your child... would 7 years be enough??? That is the big question everyone needs to ask themselves before they respond or post a comment. Even though the guy said "Gomen" and what not.. To me I would for sure make a HUGE deal about this guy only getting 7 years. If it was my child..

Posted in: Man gets 7 years for killing two kids with car See in context

Its a sad day... Only in Japan ... you can kill 2 people and only get 7 years. I don't know about anyone else, but as a parent, that would make me mad. Japanese need to stand up and fight sometimes....

Posted in: Transsexual denied recognition as father See in context

I think people are getting on topic... The main thing here is Japan is STILL stuck in a world that is 20+ behind the rest of the world in many things. laws.. way they run the government.. etc.. This is just another check mark I can put down as Japan not growing or even contemplating the fact that world is changing... All I say is japan needs to grow up and stop trying NOT to change..
