I wonder why she was chosen as beauty queen of Japan? I am not prejudicial but just my honest opinion.

This is good only if the homeless and poor gets to eat the meal that is being paid for, instead of those who actually afford to buy their own meal.

So many wasted lives just because the government and the board of education are slow in tackling this problem. Give bullies 3 warnings, after that expell them from school. Enforce it as a law and soon the others will take heed to the warning and shape up.

What he did was absolutely wrong and a crime but it is not wise to start an argument of any sort with anyone is drunk. They are not in their right senses.

We should applaud her success and also for her caring heart to help charities and the 15 year old kid missed a good spanking when growing up. What the family produce, the world receives.

They need to reminded they are in prison doing time for their crime, and a prison is supposed to be uncomfortable so that they think twice before committing a crime again.

I wonder no one had the sense to call the police when they heard the cries of the young lady. A passive nation! Sad indeed.

Accidents do happen but some don't need to if we are just extra careful. We should learn from the mistakes of others (we have read such cases too many) and become wise to avoid damage and disaster, especially such as this one. A sad case indeed!

Posted in: Indian police to hold Japanese gang rape ID line-up See in context

I have travelled to some countries and I have seen young Japanese girls trusting a smooth talker and going along with them. All japanese needs to understand that the situation abroad is totally different than their country, Japan. I hope they would be become street smart and don't allow themselves to be taken advantage by anyone when they travel abroad.

I am sorry to say this but there is a personal choice involved in this matter. Yes, she was violated and the perpetrators must be severly punished and I hope the court will mete out an appropriate punishment to those who had done this despicable act but having said all, there is fault on this young girl too when she made the wrong choice of trusting a total stranger just because he could speak her language and going along with him. Partly she is at fault for being ignorant of such matters and making wrong choices. I hope she recovers well from this ordeal.

I wonder why the driver was arrested unless he was speeding. Clearly the parents are at fault. Two casualties because parents mistake.

We need the scoundrel who did this to a child to be apprehended soon and to be taken off the streets but parents need to realise to the fact that there is a dangerous world out there and we as parents need to arm our children with some survival skills like e.g. not accepting anything from a stranger etc... Glad she has survived this ordeal.

Could you please let both the dead and this nation rest in peace? Your visit is going to bring much restlessness and turmoil to many souls. So are you brave or bravely foolish? I wonder.

Sins of a nation that prevents genuine healing to take place both for the victims and those who victimized. No repentance no healing.

He clearly did wrong as an assembly man and he is showing himself to be a person out of character by further excusing his mistake. He should be a man and own up to his wrongdoing, likewise others who had taunted her. A nation is strong only as it's leaders.
