Taxis were great and value for money. . We found people were polite in shops but not friendly out of their business or when we needed assistance... the tour guides were extremely helpful and genuinely enjoyed their jobs. Shopping was difficult.. except for when we went to the pokemon shops

I think anything you can do to lessen the flu or cold is good. Have flu shots, gargle with what ever, please wash your hands, that's a no brainer and use sanitary hand cleaners.

I can not believe your country didnt know about the health warnings from smoking and 2nd hand smoke. I was in japan last month and found it appalling that people still smoked in restaurants ..

Very sad for the family

My sister and I were in Tokyo asleep and I woke at 1:10am to the worst sound I have ever heard. It was liken to a growling from the earth and the building. The 15 story building shook like it was made of jelly.. We were both on the 12th floor and never had we experienced anything like that... When we spoke to people they weren't worried and said it was only a medium size one!
