All American candidates are isolationists, as demonstrated by polices that only focus on America, and don't take into account the other 95% of the planet.

Invading other countries at will, using dodgy facts to justify negative behaviour, and ignoring the perils that the rest of the world is raising.

Of course US politics are welcome to do this, but the US will be more and more ignored, as it moves away from the mainstream.

Cheer on whoever you want, but just make sure they don't get in the way of progress for us again. I'm sure it'll have fair-weather 'friends' as long as it's got money. But that seems to be vanishing fast, and without money it will just be the bully left.

The root cause was the failure of safety control equipment, which is what the 'eco-nazis' were talking about.

I don't think having more people demanding better control over the drilling would have resulted in a worse spill?

If he's another Bush, people of the world will sideline the US in foreign policy, now they have been vaccinated by the past rouge presidents.

@gregoryharuko

What you view as just food, the majority of the rest of the world view as a symbol of beauty, grace and peace.

And you want to kill and eat them...how do you think that looks?

@gregoryharuko

how can you have whale eating nations when they don't catch enough whales to feed anyone?

"there is no reason why not to eat that specific species of whale"

Why doesn't Japan or Norway whale in their own waters?...because there are none left. I think that's a good reason not to let the same thing happen in the southern oceans, especially in the Southern Whale Sauntury...it is so terribly disrespectful to the countries that live in that region.

New Zealanders love whales and dolphins as a traditional natural symbol, and Japan and Norway simply look evil and greedy hunting amd killing them.

You need to assume less and learn more.
