Posted in: Ditch the queen: UK public's wild ideas for spending cuts See in context

You do know that the old dear and her family has to pay taxes! If they dump her there will be a drop in travel to England. The UK has no way of making money, no factories or anything. All the manufacturing business where sold off years ago.. London is the hub for European busineses and the world, but now that will change (maybe), the UK has to start building stuff and selling it again to progress.......

when I was a free-lance English teacher a group of us did a over night at one of our school.... the school teachers and head/owner asked us to help pat the kids to sleep. This invold us sitting beside the kids (ages from 4 to 10) and patting them on there backs and a gentle rub.

Now the group was made up of 3 white males and 1 japanese female teacher (ages 25 to 50), and people seem to forget that these are children and prown to making things bigger then they really are. Plus we have parents who think their little darlings can do no wrong!

Not saying the bloke isnt guilty, but I would like more info as we dont know what really happend. And as many have said confessions can be drilled out of people here.

No one is hiding anything. The American Senate has no ruling over another countries legal or political system. The summoning of BP is a different story as they are an independent company and not a country. To summon a political MP of another country is going too far. The government should do as the Scottish did and decline.

As soon as the Senate relies that they are not ruling the world, and there policies only work in there own country the better. World Government anyone?

Obama and his people need to stop the British bashing.

England was not all together for whatever reasons from the beginning when they played Japan and lost.

Well i agree with you that England didnt have its chips all together, but are you saying that we lost to Japan in May?

Yes, its sad to see England play the way it did and throughout the Group stage we strugled and just made it through. Germany where the better side and showed the world that we are nolonger ranked 8th!!

Not sure what is next for England.... Get a new manager? Nope! Dont mater if we get another as the players dont seem to work well together. Yets hope they can work it out before the start of the Euro games.

Lunchbox~ I must say sorry about the Soccer remark.... I should be happy to see Football/Soccer spreading around the world. No matter what it’s could it brings people together. Again, I say sorry.

Yes its still could the "Golden Boot" and yes they might be playing for the prize.... maybe its just a few who are pushing my buttons, hahaha, perhaps these people should stick two watching the men and not make comments about the rules. Anyway lets all enjoy!

When I read some of these comments I can’t but help laugh at some of the ideas about football. I can feel that some are lacking in understanding when the term Soccer is used, but please do some research before you comment as you make yourselves look like fools.

Please check rules, FOR and AGAINST and player’s skill ability....... there are scouts in SA watching the games, getting a good look at player’s ability to sign them for clubs around the world. If a player does not out shine another the scout might just move onto another, it allows players to advance out of Asia and Africa into Europe!!!

Who the ____ do they think they are, and why does the world tolerate this?

They are the people who fire rockests......

As soon as each country "GETS OVER ITSELF" and stops the playing then perhaps the world will take notice. It cant be changed if only one comes to the table and the other continues fighting (firing rockets or attacking boats)!!

Come on us logic here people, those who say that Israel are the only ones who are fighting need to get a grip and notice what the Pals have done!

Posted in: Wives still have passion, but how to get their husbands to realize it? See in context

kids still sleeping with their parents. That should be stopped as well,

This is sooooo true, I’ve been try to get my son to sleep by himself in his cot (which is in the same room) for some time, but the wife keeps laying him down to sleep in our bed and pulls him in to our bed in the middle of the night.... brakes everything I have done to get him used to his own bed.

On another note, my sister-in-law still sleeps in her parent’s bed and she’s a grown adult, but you didn’t hear that from me......

How do we know that the child was looking for his mother? Perhaps he was pulling the chair to the edge to take a look at all the noises that where coming from down there - cars, people and so on.....

The door being left unlocked was a shame and leaving a 4 year old at home by himself is a bit questioning..... but we have no idea what the mother was really doing.

My heart goes out to the child, father and grandparents.
