I can't want until this guy goes down. We should have a national holiday celebrating the day he's sentenced to life in Guantanamo.

It's well known in intelligence circles that many of these women are getting sensitive information. The "broken Japanese" is just a ruse.

Posted in: Why are Japanese women so eager to bare themselves? See in context

Japanese women will do anything if the image is right and there's money involved. There is no set of core values that needs to be persuaded. It's very easy to convince them to do anything so long as image and money are dangled. They have no values to fall back on to be strong.

Posted in: What is your view on all the fuss this week about pat-downs as part of security measures at U.S. airports? See in context

I'm heavily invested in the firms making the X-Ray technology. We're working on expanding it globally to courthouses, bus stations, train stations and the like. This is all about making us rich; it has nothing to do with actual safety.

The underwear bomber flew in from Nigeria. Security is no better there now. It should be obvious that enriching ourselves is the true goal here, but people don't get it.

Don't fly. It's a privilege, not a right.

Japan has no need for Chinese tourists. The dangers to society far outweigh any possible benefit.

I guess this flies in the Japanese media, but it needs more meat for overseas news consumers.

No, restaurant should not be required to list caloric content. We need less nanny state.

Posted in: Windfalls from soaring yen not necessarily passed on to consumers See in context

Savings should be bonused out to execs and never passed on to consumers. That's the whole point of being in business.

Posted in: What is your definition of a hero and who are some persons, either living or deceased, whom you would consider to be heroes? See in context

Andrew Brietbart, Rush Limbaugh, Susan O'Donnell

Anyone who is actively speaking out against the progressives, liberals and the criminal Obama regime. I think Limbaugh should end up on Mount Rushmore.

Japan's decision? It was the Okinawa prosecutors who made the decision.

Posted in: What are some of your favorite examples of the way English is misused in products, advertising and pop culture in Japan? See in context

I like how any Japanese person talking on a mobile phone, immediately upon seeing a foreigner within earshot, must start saying "OK! OK!" repeatedly.

Posted in: What are some of your favorite examples of the way English is misused in products, advertising and pop culture in Japan? See in context

Yeah, "Lehman Shock" is well misused, as well as "local" - people use "local" when they want to say "rural."

The word "dish" is misused pretty often. "I want to eat delicious dishes." There is no such thing.

Inappropriate use of the word "half"
