Divorced fathers in Japan typically don’t get much access to their children because of widespread cultural beliefs that small children should be with their mothers.
Wow. Noriko must be very smart to abduct the children and bring them to Japan. She knows about the cultural and law differences between Japan and U.S.
Christopher Savoie is now the sorriest person on the planet for marrying and divorcing this Japanese woman. He is suffering the serious consequences for rudely throwing Noriko into another land, failing to keep his married relationship with her ongoing, fooling around, and marrying another woman. His second wife should not deserve an interview with any American and Japanese media. Why should she? Stupid.
I am totally on Noriko's side and very proud of her genius strategy.

You don't really know Sakai alone and a woman's capability to do bad things. Like many, many male fans, you are easily enticed by Sakai's beauty, otherwise you would not join to make your own comment. Women changed greatly in 20 years. They are much more liberal now. My mother said so. Many young women now wear tattoos and even drink beer more. Last night, in a Floridan resort lobby, I saw two women were arriving in. One was totally drunk while her friend was helping her. After that drunkard saw me sitting on a bench, she made an odd approach to me. I was so scared that I had to move away. But they decided to pass me for an elevator. What a big relief. It was my first time in my life seeing a drunk female. Wow.

Living with her step mother may not be a bad idea, but her home is still in Tokyo. Sakai can continue to go to filthy places if she wants to. She will not have to clean the house. It may be better for her kid. But she can't look too ahead and prematurely tell about her plans. First, she should worry about the court.
Looks like Sakai is undergoing a major treatment to detoxify her body. This is a big job. That tells her drug using was not so small. .If she used it a few times, she may not need an advanced treatment. I don't think that she should participate in anti-drug campaigns anymore. Japan is already a changed country and stopping to trust in Sakai.
Sakai can go ahead to tell all in her book. Will she sell books in English?

The Japanese media and journalists are not the problems. Sakai is. Hiroshi Morisu should not get involved in Sakai's affair. He must be quiet.
The media can report a new incident relating to Sakai anytime. We can make new comments but we should stop discussing any further to safely overlook Sakai's tiny drug problem. Too late now. Forget that. The damage is already done. Sakai did not make a "small" mistake.
Sakai is not like any Japanese, American, or international actress in the world. Once we "touched" her real life, starting with the arrest of her husband, the result was a chain of the succeeding curses.
Drug is drug. Graffiti is graffiti. Arson is arson (not including other arsons to distract firemen from Sakai's home). Mistress is mistress. Stinking condo is stinking condo. Lying is lying. Running away is running away. Evidence destroying is evidence destroying. Nightclub is nightclub.
Arson is very dangerous. The fire had potentiality to spread to other houses and trees. Don't forget about the other nearby arsons at the similar times. Thanking to Sakai's tiny mistake, like forgetting to take the aluminum-foil wraps out of her cosmetic bag, it opened Pandora's box to endanger the Japanese society.

I think that it is best for us, including Hiroshi Morisu, to refrain ourselves from making opinions or further comments about Sakai's drug using. Wait until Sakai's trial and verdict time then we can say more. We don't know much about her. The police and prosecutors have more information about her than we do. They are saving it until the court time.
Before Sakai's arrest,do we know about any Japanese actress who was on drugs, having her home getting graffiti and arson, going to a nightclub often, deliberately destroying evidence, lying to the police, failing to keep her stinking and messy condo cleaned to be more suitable for a child, running away, and allowing a mistress to live in her house?
It is so rare, even for a Japanese commoner.

The highway guardrail was erected too close to the road. Must be something wrong with the Japanese highway regulations governing installation of guardrails.
I never heard about this kind of accident in America, despite its population is much larger.

This Shukan Post article is telling truth, because of the revealed location of the aluminum foils. Noriko Sakai did not fight the charge for those (possession of a stimulant drug in a wrapped foil).

Seems like the "disposable-man" problem is limited to the very large cities in Japan. Drinking parties in the large cities are not good place to find wonderful men. Women need to stop looking for men based on their appearances. Handsome men are intended to be disposal and run to many other women.
If women are searching for lovable men, I suggest them to get out of Tokyo, Osaka, and other large cities to seek for men living in the smaller cities and towns which don't have many erotic entertainment industries.

Maybe Shukan Post will post an article about the boy's Sakai story soon.

Posted in: Police investigators find Noriko Sakai's luxury condo in filth See in context
What a chilling article. More and more nasty news relating to Sakai! I can imagine that. I initially thought that Sakai would come to clean the condo to rid the drug traces before she escaped from the police. She made a big mistake for skipping this important task because she never thought that the police was able to receive an authority to invade her place. The police certainly knew what to do, thanking to their experience.
"Vaporized cocaine"? Everyone, including myself, thought that she was only taking amphetamine. She was actually into cocaine? Maybe she did both drugs? Cocaine is a very powerful drug.
From now, Sakai should worry very much about losing custody of her kid to someone else, who is not necessarily her husband. Sakai and her husband already both screwed up badly. She has to deeply regret her bad habit for neglecting cleaniness. She is a 38 year old woman! She should know better to keep her responsibility maintained. Even moreover, she is a mother! A child does not deserve to grow in a dirty place.
Very shameful. Despite that I am a single "man" (not woman) who lives alone, my home is many times cleaner than hers! No drugs, cigarettes, alcohol cans, etc! Because I don't do any of them. My kitchen is clean often. I always wash the dishes. I just need to vacuum frequently, not less. I am close to her age. My home is only 5 million yen in the Southeastern U.S.!
A few, pretty, and discernable things in Sakai's messy home are the expensive furniture and audio equipment? Very, very pathetic!
The external sides of Sakai's glamorous condo and internal properties are like a world apart. The Japanese police must think that they were entering a woman's slum home in Chicago.

Posted in: 'Konkatsu' marriage activity businesses booming See in context
Sounds like Japan is suffering a major economical crash and serious social problem simultaneously. Whining too much over aging, low salary, and childlessness and making wishful thinking about future will not do Japanese any good, because these problems are very, very common around the world.
I don't think that a meeting for relationship should be commercialized. I prefer to see Japanese to accept consequences of living alone and willing to tolerate pains, rather than relying on a service or company to do a magic job in curing the depressed people. Better be a wanderer than a member.
Time is changing. Japan is not so closed society as it used to be. Convenience of marriage arranging is gone for good, because so many Japanese women loathe that and want their own way of meeting people - Japanese or not, online or not, and high salary or not.
I kinda feel bad for Japanese men. They should know that they are not only ones who have problems. American men sometime have hard times with American women, too.

I am so relieved to hear that Hayashi's parents survived the golf-club attacks. First, it was Yuji Hayashi's decision to kill them. After the incident, it was his destiny to get himself kicked out of the parents' home and move to his new home, a prison. Maybe the parents will never welcome him back after his release. Quit smoking is not a big deal but a difficult task.

Posted in: JR installs anti-suicide lighting on platforms See in context
Maybe the anti-suicide lighting helps a little but it still has no power to fully stop a suicider.
I have a suggestion.
Japanese need to add the electric poles near the end of the subway platform. Bolt the poles' bases down. Between the poles are the curtains. Curtains' height should be about 6 feet. The poles act as the curtain lifters in upward and downward directions. The subway security guards use a device to send a signal to the poles like a remote controller. A fairly long curtain between the lifting poles will prevent a suicider from falling down.

This employee isn't a priest.

DenDon, yes. I don't know anything about marrying, because I never experience internally. I am obliged to be honest. I don't have any problem writing too much. So many people mistake marriages as fun and joy businesses. So naive. Weddings are supposed to be very humble and not intended for showboating. Why should rich people throw millions of dollars for weddings then they divorce a few years later? A person can't pretend like they are very happy after marrying someone. Bragging is not a good answer. Just wait and wait. Then boredom creeps. Couples start conducting risky and greedy experiments which they don't know about, despite if they agree to cooperate. It is always the single and married people who are interested in others.
Humans feel so fragile when they are dealing with infinity. To beat this odd, they are seeking for something to acquire high pleasure experiences (trips to strange places, sex, substances, etc.) before they die. This is why it happened to Noriko Sakai. She may be a winner in the entertainment circle but disastrously loses her battle against the most powerful force - "time".
I just write from my observation of people's misfortune and suffering. Even my neighbors divorced. My cousins divorced, etc, etc. My sister was even close to divorce when her marriage was in an early stage. But now everything is fine. Recently, someone moved to become my next door neighbor. He happens to be a single father taking care of his little boy. Sometime his mother comes to pick up him by herself. So sad. I do not need to ask him about his personal business, because I already know about the correlation between the weakening marriages, decaying society, entertainment, propaganda, greed, pleasure places, drugs for get-high purpose, alcoholic drinks, and communication technology (cinema, television, computer, printing press, cellphone, etc). Very difficult to get out of some addictive traps such as those relative factors.
No ring possesses a magic that can chain a couple to each other till one of them die. I don't like jewelry personally.

After they marry and get everything perfect for some years, their interests to keep their good habits ongoing will gradually go astray. No one can be firmly attached to perfectionism and idealism forever. Too much pressure and distraction. They are only humans after all. A salary is never high enough to keep a marriage stabilized.
Aren't we aware about Noriko Sakai's mistake? Some celebrities get involved in drugs, despite that they participate in the anti-drug campaigns. So many ironies. Global criminal organizations are at the work around the clock in smuggling the illegal drugs to many different countries. Beware of the illegal drugs, they can ruin marriages and cause depressions and suicides.
This is a very modern world - so many high tech products are already available to distract and brainwash people. Modern laws are now too loose and weak to prevent divorces. More ways to get divorced and stick with an extramarital affair than remain married. Going to a church, temple, or monastery can't always save a marriage. The decision is left to an individual if she or he wants to work to keep his marriage life.
Merely 40 years ago, the world was very, very simple - no personal computers to display millions and millions of porn pictures and DVD players. Not so many porn movies were created around the world in 1960s or earlier. Many people were already able to stay married all of their lives. The divorce rate was very low. Simplicity, tradition, and restriction helped enhancing the marriages' life spans and conditions.
Even my father and mother did not get divorced all of my life. My aunt and uncle celebrated their 50th marriage anniversity about ten years ago. They still live. I just heard that people were generally happier 40 years ago than now.
