Posted in: Seven-Eleven illegally threatened store holders over discounts, court finds See in context

I'm just thinking that it is not in the mainstream news, because the Japanese TV stations depend on 7 and I holdings advertising revenues. Or am I way off?

Congratulations Japantoday for reporting this. This is such a big story and it is not reported on the mainstream news. I wonder why . I was first aware of this story in a very leftist magazine that did not accept advertisements.

Posted in: Court rules parents who keep estranged partners from seeing children can be fined See in context

Ok. Staying on topic. This could be a start for noncustodial spouses who want to see their children. Depending on the custodial spouse, it is a waste time wise and financially to get visitation rights. If the custodial spouse knows that there is no penalty for not showing up to visitation appointments, the time and energy is wasted. If this article is what I think it is, then it's a start. I hope that its enforced. Any other opinions out there?

Brianprager is right. My lawyer told me the exact same thing and told me not to waste my money. Kimuzukashiii, I am sorry that that happened to you, but that is not us!! I don't know Brian or perhaps I met him at a meeting or protest. We want to be fathers and I would love to pay child support in return for a relationship with my child.

I'm in the same position. It's a nightmare. Multiple nightmares. Do u know the saying"I don't wish this on my worst enemy"?. Now I know what it means.

So, is Japan, USA and China going to continue to allow this to happen? Or is North Korea's program so novice that it is too soon to worry about?

bajhista65 at Jan. 12, 2013 - 05:47PM JST Hahahahahaha..... for her age I can't believed he swindled the old man. I was duped by a 7/11 cashier/staff one time. I checked my receipt and noticed two ice cream but I only bought one. The funny thing was, he was eating the ice cream in front of me. Always check your receipts and count your change. hehehehe

Oh my god!! This is hilarious!!

Everyone should check their own numbers. The same thing happened in Canada. Additionally, I would never buy a scratch ticket. If a lottery booth owner had a needle and a good magnifying glass, they can easily check the tickets to see if they are winners. If they are losing ticket, they could just put them back on the market.

Posted in: Island dispute takes bite out of Chinese tourism to Japan See in context

In the very beginning of all this, one of my students said that Japan should let China have the islands. The economic impact is far greater than the value of these islands. This is really hurting Japan.

Thank God! That's the last thing Japan needs. A politician controlling the Bank of Japan. The constant changes of government would put the BOJ in disarray if thus happened.
