I don't like this situation.

STOP making HEALTH decisions for people. Their body is their choice.

IF I want to take a vaccine it is my choice.

IF women in Japan want to use PILLS let them it is their body and their choice.

Leave people alone.

@Larr Flint

I actually can see it coming, hence it is Corona time and people are struggling. At some point, people might start to be unhappy that refugees get jobs, accommodation, and cash handouts while regular Taro has to suffer.

Even if it is not true people perceive things in their own way.

You can actually feel that a little bit already with corona restrictions and the way the Japanese people look at foreigners to be a potential threat of spreading the virus.

However, let's hope for the best.

Luckily I got rid of the yen a long time ago, and on top of that, I always convert my salary to different currencies/assets as soon as it comes in.

The situation is bad. I advise everyone to take their families to the nearest PCR test point and check if they are not infected to prevent spreading the virus.

We are all in this together.

Folks take BOOSTER.

Also, try to take PCR tests regularly to see if you are infected so you won't be spreading the virus.

Stay home, stay safe!

I believe that the Japanese economy will meltdown due to the state of emergency that should be declared, and probably will be declared later this month. It will be great occasion to buy the dip, meanwhile I'm also in cash.

It doesn't really matter if it is significant or not, just a FACT of rising interest rates will cause panic and nice correction or sell-off.

I already sold most of my positions as March will be bloody. FED with all that hiking of interest rates. Seems like BLOOD on the streets are real.

Listen, guys, I had my 2 jabs already.

However, I'm very happy to be living in Japan that doesn't discriminate against people due to their vaccination status.

Through all those years I spent here I learned respect for other people's decisions and their way of thinking, much more than I could possibly learn back in "progressive" Europe.

If you are here long enough you will understand freedoms and respect other people.

Japanese harmony.

Leave freedom to people.

There are 80 000 Americans (service member and their families) in Okinawa, and probably a lot of them are traveling around Japan for New Year Holidays.

Have fun with Omikron cases spikes in a week or two.

The government should order all the American troops and their families to return to the US.

Well, it can go both ways, declining population doesn't necessarily mean mass unemployment, however on the other hand as the population ages there will be less demand for services like (restaurants, bars, izakayas, cinemas). Older people tend to spend less on entertainment and focus more on staying at home and caring about their health.
