Come to Oshawa, Ontario where GM has a plant and where people are losing jobs (through headquarter mismanagement). The angry-ignorant advocate keying (scratching the finish off) Japanese cars, boycotting them, because they don't know that Japan builds cars in Ontario! IMHO it would be a positive for Japan and for its employees to label their Canadian/USA/Mexico products with the on-site country as well.

It'd be really smart, free advertising, and also good PR if Japanese manufacturers in the Americas tagged all of their products with that country's name...eg. Nissan USA...to stop Japan-bashing and to educate people that Japan is creating jobs there.
