If you don't like the movie, or the show, or the characters, fine. However, the continuous hateful, spiteful comments on the actresses age, appearance, clothes, etc is pretty shallow and petty. Again, criticize the movie fine, but geeze not everyone is 20 and no everyone identifies with 20 yr olds! They look great for mature ladies, and that is what they are, mature women - not girls. Tone it down a bit fellas.

Not a bad idea, but if they resent having to work in the 'sticks', one has to wonder the level of care that they will administer.

Geeze, the men on this forum are really hating on the more mature women. We don't all stay 20 forever and I for one am glad. I look forward to ageing gracefully and hope that I can keep my shape as well as these ladies can. Why is it when women are older or of a 'certain age' they get shat upon but for men they're 'distiguished' or a 'rouge' or 'playboy'...pretty big double standard there gents.

Sorry guys, ladies don't give a rat's behind what you think...they LOVE SATC and think these ladies are the best thing since sliced bread. Movie did get rather horrid reviews in the US though. Japan however only cares about the 'lifestyle' and clothes. Will make a ton of money here.

Human rights? Yet they have no compunction whatsoever when they are 'tracking' foreigners, and well all have to carry cards to identify ourselves. Amazing.

Exercise personal responsibility and willpower. Don't blame it all on a fictional character. Kids whine for McDonalds all the time? Too bad -no Mickey D`s today. Maybe once a month. Plus, why don't kids play outside anymore? I wasn't even allowed in the house except for mealtimes and bathroom breaks in fine weather. Kick the chubby kids outdoors, take away their electronics and hopefully they will actually PLAY and with that, become more healthy.

@Dubucho & LFRAgain,
I did not mean that they really had a chance to do anything, but did anyone at least scram at the poor girl 'hey stupid, a train is coming!!' or 'watch out!' or even 'NoooooOOoooo'. I don't expect everyone to be heroes and yes, she jumped down of her own accord, but she was only 15 - at that age you usually aren't the brightest penny in the fountain. I was just wondering if anyone tried to help/warn. etc. Not blaming it 'on society'.

'using the stairs was too much trouble' Oh, well - at least being hit by a train didn't inconvenience you further. I feel for the parents but come on, at 15 you should have a bit more sense than to jump down from a platform and run across the tracks. Where were station staff? Did any other passengers say anything...DO anything? Or did they just avert their eyes until the girl got hit and then say..oh kawaiso ne~
