Yep let’s have a vote then just do whatever we want anyway.
Lol that's not what they're talking about. They're talking about finding a way for the EU to help support Ukraine, and that's in peril because on authoritarian regime objects. Why should the vast majority of the EU have to yield for one country. I know the right hates democracy, but that is how they function.

Not that I am aware of. Appears that he cashed in off his dad though
And is that a crime? I think it's immoral, diminishes peoples' faith in democracy, and perhaps should be, but it is not illegal. And I've yet to see congress seriously tackle issues of corruption or grifting. I'd have an easier time believing folks were actually worried about corruption if they didn't turn a blind eye to it during the Trump years.
Raises more questions than answers.
It really doesn't. Cheap innuendo.
0 ( +2 / -2 )
oh sorry, my bad... got confused... all the dates and figures does your head in. Page 13 has a tabulation of his expense broken down for 4 years (2016-2020) and one heading is "payments - various women" total 700 grand, another "adult entertainment" over 100 grand, "rehab - drug and alcohol" 71 grand but plain old vanilla "entertainment"; a measly 24 grand. Another page reveals a two night stay with an escort for 11 and half grand.
So what? Is he running for president?
0 ( +2 / -2 )
The amounts of money he has flowing through is amazing and he sure knew how to spend it. Keep in mind all the dates are while his dad was VP:
His dad wasn't VP in 2020. Or 2019. Or 2018. And almost none of 2018. Try again.
0 ( +2 / -2 )
he was already president, and he made a lot of threats back then, and nothing happened, he couldn’t get a lot of things passed because of Congress, relax
Yes, he made a lot stupid, indefensible threats, but he never claimed he wanted to be dictator then. Now he has. And frankly, that's about the best way for him to stay out of jail.
Who’s going to go along with that the military the Pentagon, how would they go about doing that suspend habeas corpus? How would they get past the Senate?
The same people that are onboard with making him dictator for a day. Again, you've yet to explain how that's constitutional.
It is? How so?
Really? You don't understand how dictatorships are bad?
The same Trump, so you don’t need to worry, although I do have to say the Democrats are trying their hardest to make sure that he’s not the nominee
Uh no, not if he suspends the constitution like he's said he wants to do.
5 ( +5 / -0 )
So what’s your worry? .
1)How does one become dictator for a day?
2)What's to stop Trump at being a dictator for "only" a day? I don't believe he wants to be dictator for a day. He, and his supporters, want him to be dictator for life.
Sealing the border to stop illegals from coming and making us energy independent is bad now? Why?
I didn't say that. I said you wanting a dictatorship is bad .
Like this current President, a lot I don’t like and nothing I can do except wait until election and vote him out of office.
This current president isn't a dictator. Has never said he wants to be a dictator and you can vote him out. That won't be the case with dictator trump once he does away with the constitution and installs himself as a dictator. So again, what are you going to do when the dictator does something you don't like?
4 ( +4 / -0 )
See, you didn’t listen. lol.
Are you telling me now that isn't what he said? Of course that:s what he said, and the fact he "only" wants to be dictator for a day, or "drill" doesn't take away from the fact he wants to be a dictator.
Well, like he said on Hannity, seal the border and drill, I’m down with that dictatorship any day of the week.
And there we have it yet again: They want a dictatorship.
Hey Bass: What happens when that dictator does something you don't like?
7 ( +7 / -0 )
By you not listening to what he said when he was pressed on the question. So you can either hear what the man stated when asked that very question or you can take the liberal position and come up with your personal conclusions and beliefs.
lol I heard what he stated. He stated he wanted to be a dictator. And his little followers are even saying they want him to be a dictator now.
5 ( +6 / -1 )
on day one I will be dictator, and I will seal the border and drill, after that, I won’t be a dictator anymore.
1)How can a president be a dictator for a day?
2) What's to stop him from being a dictator for more than a day? Most dictators don't stop at one day.
10 ( +11 / -1 )
Better than all the contrive cases and charges they’re trying to hit Trump with.
Lol no it's not. Cope.
If you do what the left always do, take things conservative say out of context and context helps.
Lol how was Trump saying he wanted to be a dictator taken out of context? I would love it when rightists act like if the language employed by Trump is some great work of art which must be carefully analyzed for context and nuance. It isn't.
14 ( +14 / -0 )
Yep, he has no chance of winning this one. If he did win, what is stopping a president from murdering someone and saying that they are immune.
Oh come on now, would a guy who wants to suspend the constitution and be dictator commit murder? ;)
9 ( +11 / -2 )
no I do not.
But Trump does. He said it. He didn't believe his own intelligence services, instead siding with Putin. Well done.
Man that really triggered the liberals when he threw your own nonsense right back in your face.
Well yeah, he's already said he wants to suspend the constitution. He calls his opponents vermin, just like Hitler and mussolini did. He refused to rule out abusing his power if reelected. He wants to hollow out the government and fill it with political hacks, personally loyal to Trump. So yeah, I'd call that pretty worrying, but again I don't like fascism and authoritarianism like some people :)
7 ( +11 / -4 )
sane agencies have historically been wrong nearly every time it was important.
So that means you side with Putin?
Didn’t know liberals were such unlawful surveillance fans.
No. I think it's abhorrent that we had a president side with a dictator like Putin over his own intelligence agencies. But then again, I don't like dictators like some folks do :)
5 ( +9 / -4 )
yet no wars and little death.
Only because Iran didn't retaliate. Let's not ever forget the moron assassinated Iran's top general.
And maga morons want to make this guy dictator.
7 ( +11 / -4 )
4 years of outstanding foreign policy results.
lol 4 years of doing a lot of nothing. 4 years of sucking up to the dictators he aspires to become, and siding with them over his own intelligence agencies. Pathetic.
7 ( +11 / -4 )
Nikki’s incompetence and being funded by Democrats and having no knowledge about foreign policy caused her to be a target.
lol Rather funny coming from the supporter of a guy whose "foreign policy" knowledge is limited to the properties he holds overseas.
At least she doesn't want to become a dictator.
cue the, "it was just a joke. teehee"
1 ( +11 / -10 )
Yeah cause we saw so much public testimony, right?
Again, you refuse to answer the question:
If you were all for Trump's trial televised, how can one be against Hunter Biden's testimony being in public?
5 ( +5 / -0 )
it can be. After he does a private transcribed deposition.
Why so rightwing crooks can lie and make things up?
Or is he special?
Apparently you think so. Apparently you think only Biden shouldn't be allowed to testify publicly :)
6 ( +8 / -2 )
because Trump also doesn’t get to decide by himself if it is or isn’t televised.
That's not what I claimed. If you were all for Trump's trial televised, how can one be against Hunter Biden's testimony being in public? I suspect it's because they know they've got nothing and they know it.
7 ( +9 / -2 )
Yeah, I’m not even going to listen to libs trying to quote scriptures of the Bible to me. Hilarious!
Yeah, I'm not going to listen to rightists pretend to know about the bible. Reverse uno.
9 ( +10 / -1 )
If he has nothing to hide, then why not do the private deposition? Seems evasive.
Yes. Wanting to testify in public is "evasive." What a clever reimagination of the word "evasive."
Anyone else remember when the rightists were demanding Trump's trial be televised? Why's this different?
11 ( +11 / -0 )
I know, but that doesn't make the comparison between a former president who has been indicted in multiple states to a president who they have yet to find any credible proof of wrong a silly comparison. :)
not sure what that has to do with robbing Paul to give to Peter.
Lol I'm not sure what that has to do with Republicans repeatedly trying to gut the safety nets designed to help the poor. The bible is very clear on how the poor should be treated, and the GOP repeatedly ignores it. So spare me the "the left" uno reverse card.
11 ( +11 / -0 )
As the Dems with Trump.
Trump's been indicted in multiple states, and faces dozens of years. Furthermore, his codefendants have plead guilty. Not the same.:)
Lying? Hardly, the left have zero credibility to quote anyone when it comes to religion, just leave that one, the left will only lose on that debate
Amen brother. As a lifelong christian, I was always taught not to help the poor. That's what the good book says. Who cares about single mothers, families in poverty, the homeless, or infirm? Jesus didn't care about them should I.
10 ( +10 / -0 )
Certain quarters used contempt of congress charges go after people recently; they don't seem to like it when the boot is on the other foot.
Or look at it the other way around: rightists in the house think they don't have to comply with a subpoena, but think Democrats do.
10 ( +10 / -0 )
Contrary to the assertions in your letter, there is no ‘choice’ for Mr. Biden to make,” wrote Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee
Which is really weird, considering previously they gave him the option to testify publicly. If he's willing to do so, why not allow him to do so? It's seems as if the crooks are aware they're crooks.
But questions have arisen about the ethics surrounding the Biden family’s international business, and lawmakers insist their evidence paints a troubling picture of “influence peddling” in the family’s business dealings, particularly with clients overseas.
Have they, though? The people angriest about this had 0 problem with with former presidents lying about building hotels in Moscow. They had 0 problem with the family of former presidents getting billions in investment money from Gulf states after that administration sold them weapons.
The criticism has prompted Republicans to plan a vote next week to formally authorize their impeachment inquiry in an effort to strengthen their legal standing if the subpoena battle drags into court.
In other words, they want to schedule an investigation without a shred of wrongdoing.
The House has no choice if it’s going to follow its constitutional responsibility to formally adopt an impeachment inquiry on the floor so that when the subpoenas are challenged in court, we will be at the apex of our constitutional authority,” House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters.
Is this the same Mike Johnson who just yesterday was saying they were blurring faces of insurrectionists so the DOJ couldn't charge them? I'm sure he's very concerned about the constituion, and "law and order."
7 ( +8 / -1 )
Another utter mistruth. Not sure whether intentional or through ignorance
Wrong again. Nice try.
Lol Does that mean Venezuela gets to invade it and steal the oil?
In 2011 Chavez heavily objected to Guyana's unilateral attempts to delimit the sea border, which means extend its continental shelf by a further 150 nautical miles - an illegal action and one in which is a big issue here.
Yes, and then Venezuela went and did the same thing.
2 ( +3 / -1 )
Brazil and the US just want the oil - surprise, surprise - whereas Venezuela has never laid down it's very strong claim over the area
Actually, it's Venezuela that wants the oil. Under Hugo Chavez he considered the issue settled. Until oil was found.
Machado is a foreign puppet/muppet like Guaido before her - they bend over to the neo-colonial powers and their main popularity is in the imaginations of people living in other countries.
lol And Maduro is a dicator. Even assuming what you wrote is true, is that better?
