It seems after Nov 5th many will need emotional support animals for a long time!!

I trust you have yours already. :)

Harris is no leftist.

I'm not claiming she is, but Jimmy Dore is no leftist now.

Heck, I remember back in 2016 he claimed that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be worse for progressives than a Trump presidency. How'd that pan out? Roe v. Wade gone. Affirmative action gone. Separation of church and state greatly diminished.

Jimmy Dore is another "why I left the left" types like Dave Rubin and now Ana Kasparian.

There is a reason rightists like him; He's a leftie who "saw the light" and "realized the errors of his ways."

Dore is a hardcore far-leftist to the left of Sanders and the Squad.

Dore is no leftist. What are you talking about? Maybe he used to be, but he certainly isn't now.

He's an unhinged, rightwing nut.

Not disqualifying- per that Constitution you supposedly hono

That's their opinion that it's disqualifying. Frankly, anyone with a lick of common sense can understand why we shouldn't put the crook who tried to overthrow the government back in charge of the government. It's like hiring an arsonist to be the fire marshal.

Don't expect much from Makihara. Unfortunately he's a representative from my district, but he's never actually won the popular vote there. He often makes rather ignorant incendiary xenophobic and conpiratorial posts on Twitter. How he managed to land a cabinet position is beyond me.

Lines on a map have changed throughout history, land that belonged to one later belonged to another and then another.

What a strange thing to read for one of the "build the wall types." Seems like they think some borders shouldn't move.

Kudos to the brave men who did their best in Vuhledar. Certainly better men than the fascist invaders and those rooting for fascism.

Your Jack Smith claims they were gonna hang people.

Your candidate for president tried to defraud the US, and disenfrachise the American people.

The “noose” is 4 feet above the bottom, at the most.

Oh, well, when you put it that way. Trump's lying and attempt at disenfrachising the people totally don't matter. reeeee

Still interfering because the left is desperately still trying to make this an election issue. as a distraction to replace something actual important that is “inconvenient” for them

lmao This isn't election interference. If Twump was so worried about this hamstringing his campaign, he didn't have to go to SC to hold himself above the law. He could also just drop out, but then he wouldn't be able to line his pockets with taxpayer money.

sure wish it was like the other cases where your biased judge is the only and final word, huh?

Totally. Every judge that doesn't side with me is biased. Just like every election I lose is because of fraud. With Fascists it's always "heads I win, tails you lose." These fascist creeps need to be soundly beaten at the polls in 11/5.

So nothing new as we heard all of those accusations, with no evidence, years ago.

Wrong. We know who didn't bother reading the unsealed document or the article.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Posted in: U.S. prosecutors detail evidence in Trump election subversion case See in context

Did the left learn any brand new “bombshell” information from this curiously timed release from failed “jack Smith”?

Uh yes, actually. Having read the article and about a quarter of the unsealed document, we did learn quite a bit.

Trump by his own words knew there was no outcome determinative election fraud. In his own words, he said Sidney Powell's fraud claims were nonsense.

He knew he was likely to lead as in person votes were counted, and that the numbers would likely shift towards democrats as mail in ballots were counted.

He knew the election was unlikely to be determined on election night, but that didn't stop him from claiming he won.

He began laying the groundworks for denying the election results by claiming the only way he could possible lose in 2020 was if there was election fraud. This, by the way, is the same thing Trump fans are now claiming.

Then Smith wouldn’t have need to make this public 34 days before an election

That's Trump's fault. He's the one who asked the courts to find him above the law. whine moar.

Jan 6 is not an election issue even in the top 20.

Well that's your opinion. But many of us are concerned that Donald J Trump tried to disenfranchise the American people and install himself as ruler following an election he knows he didn't win. If one is a Fascist, I can see why one wouldn't care about that though.

it only made the VP debate at the very end from biased moderators to try to help Walz win at least one exchange with Vance.

Yes. And it was very telling. JD Vance who called Trump America's Hitler did a complete 180, because he cynically hopes he can inherit Trump's political real estate.

short people were taking pictures standing next to it with their feet touching the ground.

hahahaha Yeah, those gallows weren't real and were actually small. They just looked big next to short people. lmao

Yeah people close a thought by saying I’m “proud of that service” all the time when they have yet to mention anything that is…service.

Yeah, it was awkward wording, but obviously what he meant.

left will try to defend ANYthing.

And Trump cultists will pick the most obscure drivel to whine about.

Just give it up already and find something else to whine about.

Dur-hur, maybe the service he mentioned immediately after that line:

I joined the National Guard at 17.

Yeah. What service? I had noooo idea he was in the National Guard, huh.

None of those are “lies”

No, those are all lies JD Vance told.

You can't just wave it off with a summary, "None of that list of things you said are lies, you just disagree. duh-hur"

The truth is JD Vance did support a national abortion ban.

it would be a lie if he said he thinks Trump lost when he doesn’t think so.

Yes, and it's delusional to still believe Trump lost. Just get over it already, it's so weak.

40% of Americans also feel the same way, by the way.

Great point. If a lot of people believe something that's not true, is true, it makes it true. Smart one.

DID.

Yes, and as a supporter of the biggest liar in the history of the Whitehouse, I am sure you find that contact outrageous! Give us a break.

what did JD lie about, specifically?

He still denies Trump lost the 2020 elections. That right there is disqualifying. You have to be a real big loser to continue denying he lost despite even now.

Also his claims about the best way to fight carbon emissions is to move factories back here is a lie.

Claiming he and Trump want cleaner, safer water/environment is also a lie. They'll continue to push deregulation that will worsen pollution.

He also lied about Walz signing an abortion bill that prevents doctors from help fetuses that have survived an abortion attempt.

He also lied about never supporting a national abortion ban.

Need any more examples of the lies told by the weird vulture capitalist?

They should gave ended this after Walz wouldn’t admit he lied about being in Tianamen Square, called himself a knucklehead and then said he is friends with school shooters.

Amen brother. As a supporter of one of the stupidest, and most dishonest people to ever disgrace the whitehouse. I am outraged (outraged) that Walz may have lied. lmao

He makes Biden look competent and mentally acute in comparison.

Good thing Biden isn't running. I'd take Walz all day everyday over Trump or Vance. It's over.

Your opinion does not provide a credible proof of either. Duuh..

You might have a point if I gave my opinion. I didn't though, I merely pointed out that Russia is invading Ukraine, and that Putin has openly said Ukraine was never a proper state. Both of those are facts- not my opinion.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Posted in: NATO's new chief makes Ukraine support a top priority and says he will work with any U.S. president See in context

Credible proof of the above statement or it didn't happen.

du-hur, I dunno. Maybe the fact he's illegally invaded the country and attempted to steal a solid chunk of the land for himself is an indication he wants to eradicate Ukraine? Or uh, I dunno, maybe how he talks about how Ukraine was never a legitimate state? I say this is pretty good proof Putin wants to eradicate Ukraine, but I'm not a Kremlin hack.

No actually I didn’t describe any such thing.

lol Yes. That is exactly what you described. You described Putin's forever war in Ukraine. Just because you can't understand how applicable that quote is to Putin's forever war doesn't mean it isn't.

you have poor reading comprehension of a quote from someone else and try to disingenuously apply it to support what you wrongly think.

No what's disingenuous is to take a George Orwell quote out of context to bolster your own authoritarian views. Orwell would have been thoroughly repulsed by Trump and all he represents.

that’s on you, not me.

lol

The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance…

…The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia, but to keep the very structure of society intact.

You just described Putin's war against Ukraine and his own people. Well done.

Oh so the plan IS for NATO to incite Russia by putting a new fully armed member on the border with Russia, against Russian wishes?

Remember when the right had a backbone? Now they're content to do whatever Russia, the bully, says. Pathetic.
