Some interesting reading from their website...

Compliance for quality(1). Safe and satisfactory products
We must always act according to the law and in the interests and spirit of product safety to ensure that we continue to make safe and satisfactory products in response to requirements of our customers. Also, we must understand the requirements of our customers appropriately, and design, manufacture and provide products in response to such requirements. If a problem should arise, we must respond quickly.
(2). Quality data management
We must obtain, forward, store and confirm quality data in agreed ways, and correctly inform customers of the data as necessary to ensure that we continue to keep our promise to customers. We as a company do not permit quality data falsification.

Editor: Story will be updated later with nationwide numbers.
Editor - will these numbers include the number of tests? Because that's a bit of data which has been conspicuous by its absence in recent weeks.
And if not, why not?
Moderator: The number of tests has been included in the story every day, only later than before, between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Dear Moderator, can you please let us know... Why is the number of tests released after the number of positives??
If today's results are in fact from tests conducted 2 or 3 days ago, then the number of tests conducted would be known before the number that return positive.

In March, there were 931 cases of ambulances getting rejected by more than five hospitals or driving around for 20 minutes or longer to reach an emergency room, up from 700 in March last year.
In the first 11 days of April, that rose to 830, the Tokyo Fire Department said.
A year ago there were 700 cases of ambulances getting rejected by more than five hospitals or driving around for 20 minutes or longer to reach an emergency room... No action to improve the situation in the last 12 months ?
This was already a terrible situation that has not been improved and is now being highlighted through the magnifying glass of the covid epidemic. There seems to be a pattern of wasted time and inaction...
For over 3 months Japan has watched from afar at the tragic loss of life internationally - thousands of lives lost in what was a head start for Japan to better prepare - a tragic loss and waste in so many respects.

Under the mandate does this mean that a deduction under 10% for what happened is, in fact, legal ?
