I'm wondering if this was a bullied boy exacting revenge on his bully? This could have ended up much worse! Glad that it wasn't life threatening.

Posted in: Suga aims to finish vaccinating Japan's population by November See in context

Really doubt this can done by that time at the current rate. Unless by some miracle the government has found a way like using all available medical professionals, vaccinations 24/7, showing urgency! This is the time that I'm hoping to be proven wrong!

Posted in: Japan eyes Sunday approval of Pfizer vaccine, accelerating schedule See in context

This is a sudden turnaround for the Japanese government! For a while there, it looked like it wouldn't happen until March! I guess the pressure from the public and probably the Olympics had lit a fire under their ass. Better late than never.

@Robert Cikki

As you mentioned the SOE is working! But it is too soon to lift the order, as there is a high likelyhood of it spreading faster like before. The SOE should be extended until the numbers are manageable again, and hopefully the vaccinations are starting soon.

Posted in: Florida offers to host Olympics if Tokyo backs out: state official See in context

The fact that a country needs years of preparations for an Olympic, there's no chance in hell it would happen in Florida this year! Hell! the odds are low enough for it happening in Japan.

Sadly this is the state that some of the poorest people, especially the elderly have to resort to get food and shelter! Commit a small crime to get in jail and repeat as needed.

If this Chinese man is sitting in prison and is a possible suspect, why are they not trying to check if his fingerprints match what they have in record?

I'm all for the Olympics, but unless there is a vaccine for Covid 19 anyone soon, it will surely be cancelled. Stay safe people!
