That organization is the de-facto government of Lebanon
No, Hezbollah is just one party in a coalition government.
One name is Metula. Another name is Kiryat Shmona. There are many more names. We are talking about the entire northern part of Israel.
Thanks for the information. Could you please share a link to a news site about these attacks. I cant find anything.

Shebaa farms is a very small disputed area
No, it is an occupied area.
The attack which Lebanon launched against Israeli villages and towns on October 8 2023 is not really related to this place.
Hezbollah*, not Lebanon. Lebanon is a country, Hezbollah is a political and military organization.
Where are the other towns and villages targetted by Hezbollah on October 8th?

By the way, a Yazidi girl who was kidnapped at 11 years old by ISIS and taken to Gaza where she was used as a sex slave, has just been rescued by the IDF and allowed to return to Iraq and her remaining family. Any respect for that at all?
By the way, 100% of Thai agricultural workers in Israel were sexually assaulted. And Israel just let it happen. How could anyone have respect for a place where this systematic abuse takes place?

It has not, except in the world of islamist propaganda. And Hamas can end the current war at any time by surrendering and releasing the hostages.

@Atilla
You deliberately misunderstand my position. I have never once claimed to support Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis or Iran.
According to Opertion Al Aqsq flood as provided by Hamas, the targets of the operation on October 7th were military bases with the intention of taking back military hostages to use as bargaining chips. Civilians were killed, but this was collateral damage. Many civilians took up arms against Hamas, which explains why so many Israelis killed were fighting aged men and members of security forces. Unfortunately women and children were killed, some brutally, but this was not the planned. The positioning of Reim and Nir Oz IDF bases guaranteed that there would be civilian casualties. As for the Nova dance festival, this was not part of the plan, and of course gunfights erupted between hamas and security forces at the festival.
This is the story according to Hamas. It is remarkably similar to the stories we hear from Israel about how they only target military targets, and all civilan casualties are simply the inevitable collateral damage.
I dont have a side in this conflict, but sitting on the sidelines i judge each side in the same way.
If Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran are evil, Israel is even moreso.

really that naive? when you kill babies, decapitate innocent people, burn them alive, commit the most hideous massacre possible, and you still ask why they are named TERRORISTS?
Israel has killed hundred of babies. Israeli snipers have shot Gazan children in the head. Thousands burned and buried alive in missile strikes.
2 Israeli babies died on October 7th, and several dozen minors were killed also. In total about 150 Israeli women and children were brutally killed when Hamas attacked. Even without the made up stories of 40 beheaded babies and systematic sexual violence the attack was disgusting and should be condemned.
Israel has committed the same crimes 1000 fold every day for over a year, and they were committing them long before October 7th.
Israel is a terrorist state. It was founded on terrorism back in the days of the Stern Gang. Nothing changed.

@Atilla
The situation in the Middle East would never have gotten this out of hand if all of the players had the same kind of military technology that Israel is provided with.
Israel has consistently fired missiles into Lebanon, Syria and Gaza for decades causing horrific number of civilian casualties, far more than any attacks by these "terrorists". Since their invasion in the 1980s, it is estimated that 10s of thousands of Lebanese civilians lost their lives at the hands of Israel. In the same time around 50 Israeli civilians have been killed by Hezbollah.
Israel is a terrorist state, just yesterday nethanyahu (small n) threatened the people of Lebanon with a fate the same as Gaza unless they carried out his political aims for him. Therefore the same rules that are applied to combat non-state terrorists should be applied to those who fight against Israel.

Otherwise, why do they allow terrorists to flourish within their borders
Hezbollahs popularity is multifaceted. Their anti-Israeli occupation/invasion stance is hugely popular, which makes sense considering they were established as a reaction to Israels occupation of southern Lebanon. They are anti-extremist, fighting against ISIS in Syria. They are not just a military operation, but also a major political force in Lebanon, especially the south, where they provide crucial services such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Remember that Lebanon has a historically weak political leadership, and years of economic hardship have meant that there are basically no social services for those who are in need. They also gave the previously marginalized Shia population a place in the political system. "Terrorist" is a label attached by Western powers to give them justification to bomb civilians.

Shocking what the world has come to. People are seriously openly rooting for terrorist extremists who would throw them off roofs for their beliefs.
Equally shocking to see people openly support ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, apartheid, imposed famine, as well as the deliberate targeting of children, foreign aid workers, and journalists.

Terrible what Hamas did on October 7th. Butchering young women by cutter no off their breasts while they were being raped. Babies being burned alive and tortured in front of their parents, etc. What kind of a vile group of people does that?!
Ye, none of these things happened.

The complete solution is the eradication, complete extermination of the State of Israel, the Jew.
The complete deconstruction of the zionist ethnostate. Sure. Not a call to murder all jews.

The destruction of an existing country is hardly the definition of "co-existance".
Who said anything about destruction. The goals are clear as day.

Seems the two groups lived relatively peacefully together as long as there was a colonial power overseeing things. But once that restraint was lifted, the Arabs embarked on a war of genocide on the Jews in 1948.
''Restraint was lifted'' is an interesting interpretation of establishing a Jewish ethno-state on land inhabited by a majority arab-muslim population.

Iran will never for a moment contemplate a peaceful co existence, side by side in a two state solution
Iranian leaders have called for the dismantling of Israel and the establishment of a state where Jews, Muslims, and Christians can live together under one government as equals. That is the very definition of a peaceful co-existence.

Chabba- yes, they became anti-semitic (the Arab countries). Or rather, their latent anti-semitism was allowed to come to the surface. Plus it was a good opportunity to steal the Jews property and money, kill a few, and have a good time driving them out. Thank God they had somewhere to escape to.
Latent xenophobia/racism has always existed in every society. The expulsion of the jewish people from Arab nations was a result of the Arab-Israeli war in the 1940s. Lynching of Jews was uncommon in these countries, but violence did increase after tensions grew following establishment of Israel.
As expected, you are totally ignoring the fact that Zionist groups encouraged arab-jews to move to israel with the promise of self-governance and fulfilling religious prophecy. Jewish people from around the world still move to israel for the same reason, they are not being expelled.

You may want to ask yourself why there are no Jews in the surrounding Arab countries, though. There had been large Jewish communities there too, for centuries. But they all....disappeared. What happened?
Push - After the Arab-israeli war many Arab nations became more hostile towards their Jewish populations.
Pull - After the establishment of israel there was a homeland for Jewish people to live in, and many were encouraged to emigrate by Zionist organizations.

Drawing moral equivalency between the intentional murder of innocents and the unfortunate deaths of innocents who were placed in harms way by hamas is disgusting.
It would be, if that were actually the case. Unfortunately for Israel there are too many cases that show us this to be false. The killing of Hind Rajab. The killing of the World Kitchen aid workers. The killing of three Israeli hostages waving white flags. The deliberate targettinf of Gazan children by Israeli snipers. Sure, some victims really were collateral damage, many i disproportionate strikes by IDF. Many others were simply innocent victims of Israeli wrath.

Absolute nonsense.
2023 was the deadliest year for Palestinian children. An article from September 2023. This was before Hamas attacked Israel.

Strange kind of genocide where the supposed 'victims' somehow manage to have a population growth of 2-3% every year, don't you think?
Clsssification of genocide is related to actions and intentions, not overall population trends.

Iran launches hundreds of missiles, almost all of which are shot down by Israel. The mad Mullahs will then proclaim "revenge" over Israel.
Right. Iran has rattles their sabres. Causing next to no damage, and if they think this proclamation of victory will convince anyone thats great. Everyone is a winner.
Israel and the US now have the opportunity to leave it here, but they wont. They are incapable of deescalating. The US knows nothing but war, and Israel is cut from the same cloth.
