How would Japan rectified its previous lies and misconducts in relation to the whaling? Such acts were illegal ab initial, way before the verdict was handed over by the ICJ!

If Japan is serious about enforcing the ICJ judgment, will Japan hold any government officials and fisher-criminals liable in domestic court?

@ "Job Dod" - United States is being firm on its decisions to take care of its Ally.

Perhaps U.S. need to solve Syria and Crimea issues first to prove that point.

Great move. Better than the JP government which is going to circumvent the bans anyway.

Well, it would be difficult for China to accept the Korean's name "East Sea" for the Sea of Japan, as in Chinese language the phrase "East Sea" (東海) only refers to "East China Sea". Same issue for the Vietnamese, who are naming the "South China Sea" as their "East Sea".

To name a sea by its direction does not appear to be very scientific.
