Asahi shinbun employs a lot of zainichi koreans.. according to a zainichi that i know. Obviously, I can't validate if that's an actual fact but he told me that that's the reason why asahi shinbun is particularly vocal about these matters.

24% increase in tourists in 2013 from 2012( the highest in this chart). Seems like Japan is doing well imo.

I knew Japan was going to lose in the second half. They kept losing possession of the ball and their defense was really weak. Their passes were just bad and the only reason why Ivory Coast didn't score in the first half was that luck was on the Japanese side but with another 45 minutes to go, I really doubt they can really push their luck that far. I support Japan but Ivory Coast deserved to win this one.
