Now, they are going to make it a lot easier on themselves if they vote out the political establishment and blow up the pension system.

Need to wait for those voters to pass on, although they would constantly be replaced by an ever increasing elderly population.

People simply having sex does NOT mean they are going to commit to raising children.

It's true because...

There were 126,174 abortions in Japan in fiscal 2021, according to the health ministry.

Do you think they raised the price because of fraud? I know many Japanese were using it who lived abroad.

Yep. Japan only wants white refugees.

I think it's more the fact that the war in Ukraine is high profile and they want to seem as though they are doing their bit to other G7 nations.

I hear Japan doesn't have enough electricity to support EV cars. Especially in the summer with all those aircons consuming power. Maybe if you have a solar panel and a drive way it's ok.

I'm honestly thinking of starting a family in Japan, but the thought that my wife could divorce me and simply take the kids away and hide somewhere legally is a scary thought.

I wonder how many of these divorces are rooted in lack of money? Not saying it justifies it.

Kids are hard work, it's relentless and expensive. Japan is not so wealthy anymore and I don't think people want to struggle so they just give up. These are the facts.

One of the things that would put me off having children in Japan , is the ridiculous price of school uniforms,

You think that's an issue, how about the cost of flying home to see grandparents? Could be more than $5000 for 4 plane tickets to go back home...
