Evading the police has consequences - quite often very bad consequences. Resisting police can have a terminal effect.

Harryo : Absolutely right. We do not live in an ideal world and our individual survival is of paramount importance to each individual. Do what ever is needed - with whatever will work - and at the end of the day be able to come home. I have a screwdriver for the occasional needed adjustments.

Forgetting to ensure the safety of one's child is certainly not in the interests of evolutionary survival.

People responsible for the education of children should be themselves responsible in their actions. A feeling of obligation to drink with one's boss perhaps should be re examined.

A hospital's apology for an employee murdering two individuals in their care seems rather inadequate. Much like the famous - we regret any inconvenience.

In the big cities best to never make eye contact with those out in public, never git involved, just walk on bye, and above all watch one's back. Ones survival is of paramount importance.

At age 14 , much too late for any reversal in attitude. The perverted sense of entitlement is firmly ingrained for the rest of the young criminal's life.

Non sense - east sea is what one does when standing on the Yokohama beach and looking at the rising sun. Sanitizing the designation - Sea of Japan - is but a ineffective attempt to sooth a damaged cultural ego.

As a visitor from the US I felt extraordinarily safe in the big cities of Japan. The hesitation felt when walking dark streets soon dissipated when no predatory strangers were lurking in the shadows or suddenly appeared behind me. When "bumped" on the streets our immediate and involuntary reaction to lash out in defense was not needed. Apparently I was not entirely entitled to such feelings on security.
