Is this his way of saying that he did not do all he should have done and done somethings he should not have done.

Posted in: Naomi Osaka pulls out of French Open, citing mental health issues See in context

I show respect for Naomi Osaka by agreeing with her, for her feelings and her health are being disrespected.

So she signed a contract, well then her mental health may have been OK.

Say she contracted COVID, would she still be required to attend for a press conference, no she would not because this would have gone against the quarrentine restrictions. Well she has not contracted COVID but has serious mental health issues, so she is not well and therefore is not required to abide by her contract.

In fact should a clause to be forced to attend press conferences be in the contract to start with for this smacks of power abuse, by the ruling authorities and the overpowerful media.

Health has to come first in every issue.

If she was forced against her will to do a press conference and this caused her to commit suicide, would the contract and the authorities be guilty of murder or at least manslaughter.

The power of these authorities and the media need to be curtailed and putting clauses in contracts that can be deemed to be misuse of power need to be made illegal.

This is the 21st century and not the Middle Ages, for the choices of individuals need to be respected and accepted

The Japanese Government and the IOC do not care about anyone in Japan otherwise they would have already cancelled the Olympic Games 2021.

To them the Games are the top priority and when the COVID pandemic takes off more strongly they will just ignore the responsibilities that should have taken.

I appreciate that the athletes hav trained for this event and has already be cancelled last year, but this is above the needs of the athletes for it is about the population of Japan and the populations of the countries that the athletes will be returning to.

So the Games should have alredy been cancelled, but it is not too late, so for all concerned please cancel these Olympics and the Para-Olympics immediately.

Posted in: Tokyo Games cancelation likely to cost Japan ¥1.81 tril: Nomura See in context

So what is the price of life in Japan, for to hold the Olympics could well cost even more lives and those of the athletes attending for would they have a claim against Japan and the Olympics Committee.

These games, for all concerned, should be cancelled, otherwise it could well be a supernova event which will cost untold lives.

Posted in: Japan plans to extend COVID-19 state of emergency beyond May 31 See in context

What is Japan or to be correct what is the Japanese Government playing at, for it appears they are not taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously, for if they were they would have cancelled the forthcomingOlympic Games, to continue to stage them is completely irrational and shows a complete lack of judgement.

It is total irresponsibility to allow the Games to continue and could cause an event which allows the pandemic to proceed more quickly at a time when their vaccine programme is proceeding very slowly.

The games need to be cancelled without anyfurther delay.
