Though I will admit there is no law on the books for this situation because no sitting US President has never dropped out of the race so late in the game. So, seeing Dems had no official Nomination. That was to come in early August. I will readily admit my accusation of the laws being broken was half cocked and unfound. I was wrong. But we will see pollical wrangling on the state level.
