The police force in HK are just doing their job. Protestors are really against the gov, not the police. Just let the police do their job!

Posted in: Are you old enough to remember a time when there were no cell phones, no email, no Internet and no way to keep you connected to the world 24 hours a day? If so, do you sometimes think back on that tim See in context
Ooh yes definitely I didn't get to use the Internet until I was in High School (around 12 or 13 years old) and that's when I got my 1st email address. Do I think back to it fondly, hmm maybe, I did have a nice childhood. But now that I'm accustomed to always staying connected, I can't really look back now...

Why why why do these things keep happening? Soooo sad... RIP little girl
As a parent myself, I'm always keeping an eye out for my boy (he's 15 months). Especially at this age when they are always curious and trying their best to fit through holes or climb up stools, you have to be really cautious, as they're really quick and you never know what they're going to do the next second!

Posted in: Paris hotels allow guests to 'pay what they want' See in context
Paris is a great place and I usually stay around Gare du Nord to be close to the Eurostar services. That area is quite dodgy though, with lots of Romanians (I think?) trying their hands to pickpocket you, and especially the elderly tourists (my parents were nearly victims). I noticed one of the hotels on this scheme is around Gare du Nord, I would've loved to try it but the dates don't suit me unfortunately...

How can any parent do this to their own child? The child is only 5 months old, you can't leave him/her alone, even more so alone in a car parked in the heat! And the child was left alone for what, 6 hours??? What a poor innocent thing, RIP little one... :(

While I was pregnant I was extra careful and wouldn't stand close to the edge of platform. Being pregnant should always try and find a seat and be extra careful with yourself and your surroundings.
