the history of Kara is wrought with saddness back in 2009 one of the singers Jang Jayeon committed suicide because she mentioned in a letter that her managers and the Korean entertainment industry sexually abused her for many years. She was scarred to death to tell anyone so in a letter before her death she mentioned all the abuse she went through from the hands of these perverts. >
Jang Ja Yeon was not a part of Kara... not sure where you got that from. She was a model/actress, and was mostly known for a minor role in the Korean drama version of Hana Yori Dango (in Korean, "꽃보다 남자 "), which was still on air at the time of her death.
Back to topic... as far as music goes, Kara does not appeal to me. They aren't much different than their rival groups... all heavily manufactured to look and sound very similar to each other.
