As Sebaschan says though this can happen to any tourist anywhere in the world as well. I have been all over and I have seen first hand what could happen to tourists that want to "blend in" around strangers way too fast. It is all about using common sense.

I heard that most of these activities are happening in places where the local mafia has interests on and most of the crimes are performed by them because they profit from it.
