Moon's talk of diplomacy reeks of insincerity. The hypocrisy makes me ashamed to be Korean.

Do majority of Koreans agree to anti-Japan moves? I heard that President Biden scolded Korean government for their impetuous anti-Japan attitude. It is hurting the unity of the free world.

I was born and raised Korean. I grew up with my parents and grandparents constantly reminding me of what Japan did seventry years ago. My classmates spit on me for wanting to study in Japan. During the trade dispute, young Koreans flooded the streets demanding the boycott of Japanese goods, gas stations refused to refuel Japanese cars, and several men were arrested for breaking into the Japanese embassy. A district tried to pass a law mandating that devices in classrooms have a sticker on them that says "This device was made by a war criminal". My friend who is a teacher in Korea told me about a sixth-grader who said that all Japanese are evil.

Koreans constantly victimize themselves and rave about Japan hating them when they're the ones indoctrinating their children to hate. The hypocrisy and self-righteousness make me ashamed to be Korean.

South Korea cares more about war crimes that happened over seventy years ago than they do about protecting millions of lives from nuclear war, which they made clear when they threatened to pull out of GSOMIA and lied about consulting the U.S.

South Korea has no intention of improving ties with Japan. It dissolved the comfort women foundation formed by Japan and lied about consulting the U.S. before threatening to scrap GSOMIA, putting millions of lives at risk of nuclear war.

South Korea's only priority is victimizing itself and indoctrinating its people to hate. It's the only country where people will set themselves on fire at protests, break into the Japanese embassy, and try to put stickers in classrooms saying “This device was made by a war criminal”.

A Korean that grew up in South Korea, or one that was born and grew up in Japan and wasn’t considered a Japanese citizen until you chose to apply for citizenship?

It is time for the Japanese government to escape from the old attitudes originating from the WWII to be flexible in accepting the past history and facing the future.

As a Korean, I know from experience that the collectivism is a hundred times worse in South Korea, the country where people broke into the Japanese embassy, refused to refuel Japanese cars, set themselves on fires at protests, tried to make it mandatory to put in schools stickers that said “This device was made by a war criminal”, and harassed a U.S. diplomat for having a moustache similar to a Japanese general's. I grew up with my own parents constantly reminding me of what Japan did seventy years ago as if it happened yesterday.

The people are indoctrinated into believing they are owed something over what happened seventy years ago. The hypocritical, self-righteous attitude makes me ashamed to be Korean.

If anyone needs to stop living in the past and looking for excuses to hate, it's South Korea.

By now I'm convinced Korea has no intention of reconciling with Japan.

The Korean government does not care about reconciling or the comfort women. It dissolved the comfort women fund that Japan created, and the leader of an activist group was arrested for embezzling money meant for the comfort women.

South Korea's only priority is maintaining their grudge against Japan and victimizing themselves. Look up the pictures of Japan being nuked that were drawn by children and displayed in a train station. Or the people who broke into the Japanese embassy, drove a car through the Japanese embassy, or harassed a US diplomat for having a moustache similar to a Japanese general's.

And South Korea accuses Japan of being insincere.

The fact that South Korea is demanding more money after dissolving the comfort women fund that Japan funded and embezzling money meant for the comfort women shows a utter lack of sincerity.

Unlike Japan, SK is a mature democracy where law is separate from government. 

Tell that to the dozens of English teachers who were deported or the Korean professor who was arrested for publishing a book revealing that there were comfort women who willingly entered comfort stations and other Koreans who helped scout and coerce women.

Moon Jae-in fragrant disregard to the pensioners welfare, pensioners that need and demand closure, pensioners that wish to spend their final time in a peaceful quite life, are presented with Moon Jae-in intent on wheeling them all in front of the Embassy of Japan in Seoul then proverbially ramming them head long in its walls and entrance.

Reminds me of the time someone literally drove a car through the embassy. Or more recently, when several men broke into the embassy, or when people harassed a US diplomat for just having a moustache similar to a Japanese general's, or when a district tried to put stickers in classrooms saying “This device was made by a war criminal”.

The Koreans complaining about Japan being insincere should look at their own people. The hypocrisy makes me ashamed to be Korean.

I hope these young koreans have not been brainwashed into hating all things Japanese. Otherwise, this will issue will never be resolved.

Is it likewise despicable that the Japanese keep bringing up the atomic bombings? After all they were 75 years ago. Japan NEVER tires of playing the victim status over them, never mind they started WWII. How about it?

Japan and Korea settled reparations with the 1965 agreement. Official Korean documents revealed that Korea had promised to never bring up war compensations again, and that the Korean government was responsible for compensating its citizens. Instead, Park Chung-hee used the money intended for the laborers to fuel the chaebol. On top of that, Japan paid Korea several times and set up a comfort women fund which was dissolved by the Moon administration. It is long past time for Korea needs to move on instead of constantly victimizing itself.

I am Korean, and I am sick of Korea's obsession over anything Japan did seventy years ago. It was just a month ago when it was discovered a Korean activist group was embezzling money meant for the surviving comfort women. Load of hypocrisy.

The first capsule hotel I visited was in Osaka and had a gym, swimming pool, sauna, and spa with hot tubs and a jacuzzi. It was about the same price as a single apartment in Osaka on Airbnb. Easily the best value-for-money hotel experience I've ever had.
