Sorry bass, but the area was the Palestinian's homeland for hundreds of years until the Balfour Declaration in 1917 and UN partition in 1948 took it from them against their will....not to mention further land theft and illegal settlements and slaughter by Israel ever since?

How would you like your home and lands stolen, your family and people occupied and killed in similar fashion?

Israeli officials publicly emphasised that they would continue the war until they eradicate Hamas. 

What they really want is to eradicate the Palestinians and occupy all of the territory of Eretz Israel (Greater Israel).

I agree......but on the topic of Israel Biden and the rest of US leadership are gutless and spineless. In their heart of hearts they know that Israel is committing unspeakable atrocities against thousands of innocent Palestinians, but they are too weak to put their foot down. Their financing of the horrors and inability to put a stop to it makes them complicit and guilty.

I still can't understand why Egypt will not allow more Palestinians into the country to escape the bombardment? They are fellow Muslims who are desperate, but still they are refused entry.

Because that would vacate the Gaza strip and hand it over to the Israelis to occupy, which is exactly what Israel wants.

All life is precious no matter who they are.

Hamas responsible for 1400 Israeli deaths is evil.

Israel responsible for 9000+ Palestinian deaths and the total destruction of their territory, their ongoing theft of and occupation of their lands and oppression of them is even more evil. It's despicable.
