Posted in: Many reasons to become a 'hikikomori' social recluse See in context

I came home one day from work and there was a brand-new kei car parked in the drive way. I said to my ex-wife "didn't know we could afford a new car " I became a hikikomori and gave up my job until i could figure a way out of my marriage. Hell no I was not paying for a car having slept in the other bedroom for six months.

Some of the modern tech is just so different than what I had growing up 60 years ago.

Tomorrow's World was a long-running BBC television series on new developments in science and technology.

Today's World is in your hand , the program of Yesterday predicted it.

Posted in: 84-year-old woman hands over Y80 million to scam artist See in context

I don't feel sorry for the old woman, most foreigners married to a Japanese woman don't know about the "Himitsu chochiku" that is creamed off the top of the household budget during the lifetime of a marriage. The scammers know that every woman in Japan above a certain age has a secret stash worth looking into.

Ask your wife for a little help the next time you're in a jam ? No, she'd let the marriage go to the wall rather than give up the secret and admit she was lying . Let the Japanese scam each other , I don't care .

Right we have been through this before:

Boarding a train is much the same as boarding any form of shared transport: We have arrived in the day of body and baggage checks no matter where you live in the world :

Traveler ~ Conductor : I would like a safety trip ticket to where I am going please

and the idiots in Europe

have a better social welfare safety net than the rest of the planet. They also have an individual voice with an intelligent vote from the people that put the 27+1 leaders in power to run Europe. 51% of Americans have all the clout I guess, Hmmmmmm. but ostracised at the last meeting.

Traveling with a criminal history , a country can disown you and deny responsibility. If Turkey was an EU member state he might have had a chance.

"It was illegal violence to punish him," said a lawyer for Orhan.

That reminds me of the movie "Midnight Express" the prisoner caught in a nightmare of his own making
