Twitter is a disaster for modern culture and should be shut down and banned. It celbrates gossip and meaningless chatter to no purpose. Lets get back to real life.

Posted in: Trump willing to meet N Korea's Kim; wants to renegotiate Paris climate accord See in context

the entire climate control shame is a fraud based on liberal fantasies about rich and poor and equality propaganda. Life is what you make it yourself thru effort and hard work on the personal level and the national and international level. There is no reason for any nation or any person to feel obligated to others with less or for those with less to expect it. that is a liberal fantasy. Same for environment. Much of the so called "science' of the Gore type earth fears and dreams is another fantasy and will be exposed as such in time..but is well known now by any intelligent and educated person who is free from the propaganda.

Posted in: With Hiroshima, Obama goes where predecessors stayed away See in context

Adam's post shows no real understanding of the reality of the times when WWII was started. Japan was following an identical path to all of the major European powers, and to point the finger at them over and over and over is just showing poor or no understanding of history. No one likes the terrible things that happened in history and we are a little better now than ages past but not a lot. It is cultural favortism to blame Japan for having national insterests and pursuing them. China has no clean hands over its past and the things that it did internally and externally. History over time shows that all nations can sponsor bad things. What is sad to see is the ignorance of modern people over the real issues and real costs of that war and its aftermath. not only for Japan but the US which suffers today deep wounds from the affects of trauma on the millions of servicemen and the same in Europe. I hope in time people may take the time to read more of the real events in Japan and some of the fine books and other research written of that era ...a powerful military faction controlled the country in an iron fist...quite similar to the modern condition in the US where the current president and his regieme are trying to control the entire US with his own brand of socialism and use of the government to force his socialist program. No nation is innocent in its past but today Japan is a fine country rediscovering pride in its culture and I support that effort 1000 percent.

She is a very brave lady and they should have taken care of it on the visual evidence alone. The american justice system is very broken and stupid. That jerk should be executed or shut away for life. And the system offering him a plea deal is the most sickening thing of all. I am proud of her and hope she is ok.

There is no such thing as trans gender anything..it is scientificalky impossible. It is a fantasy created by liberal activists who want to make an issue of it for fame and power. I am glad Japanese kids retain some sense, the US seems filled with this junk about this fantasy now and it is a ttotal fraud.

Posted in: Comcast buying DreamWorks Animation for about $3.55 bil See in context

Dreamworks has a cool name but their productions are stale, shallow and without merit. It is a sad thing to see such resources wasted on silly stories filled with the most banal and basic attempts at humor. Their productions are slick and smooth to watch but frankly there is nothing of value in them and I fear in time it will be clear that their efforts were a dead end in animation. Hopefully others will be able to do better stories with similar approach.

This is wonderful news finally we can get on with a real fight to get rid of the Clintons once and for all. Trump will make a wonderful president and can help us recover from eight years of insanity and run away liberal propaganda. Cruz was never a serious possilblity but he was backed by the power brokers of the Republican elite because they knew they could not control or dominate Trump. Trump will be a fine leader.

this is totally stupid and yet another sign of the insanity of the current US government led by the liberal cabal....just becasue the US overpays its workers, and sends its own industry and businesses overseas and then puts the entire economy in the red because of excessive wellfare payments to people who refuse to work..they think they can blame other countreis that DO work hard and earn it like Japan.

it is really nuts.

I am sorry, Japan, I appologize for our country which is pretty mislead right now.

I am sick and tired of the liberal elite double talk calling illegal invaders "asylum seekers" they are illegal immigrants seeking free benefits that they wont work for at home.

Just send everyone of them back to where they came from and let them work for their own future. It is time for rational and realistic responses, not faded liberal fantasies that everyone deserves a free ride. Earn it. Glad at least Australia is putting its foot down and the rest of the developed world better do the same before we are all invaded past the point of no return.

this article is sick example of sensationalizing someone's distress and pain,. We seem to live in an increasingly heartless and unkind age. Whoever wrote this article and is trying to extend this poor mans pain is really not very nice. It is true he committed grevious errors and should be punished but to revel in his pain is really a sad example of journalism gone very wrong.

It is an honourable shrine and part of Japan's heritage and history. There is no reason to label it 'controversial" any more than it is right to call Notre Dame in Paris controversial..or any shrine in any country dedicated to faith and spirit of ancestors. I am glad that this traditional ceremony was held in a respectful way.

the Sengoku Islands are part of Japan. China has more than enough land of its own but it does NOT own the China Sea..that is international water and the land of those islands belong to Japan. Taiwan has its own islands as well and is its own country. Any rational person knows this. Only China continues to live in a fantasy of its own making ..and will be much happier when it learns to get along politely with its neighbors instead of trying to bully them.

I learned today from reading the news that Kerry refused to apologize for the nuclear holocaust that the US Armed forces and the President ordered to these two cities filled with innocent civilians. There was and Is no justification for such a barbaric act. I am appalled at the continued blind arrogance of the US Government. Though members of my own family including the Captain of the USS Arizona died in the war, I personally do apologize to the Japanese people for this horrible act. The bombs if they needed to be used could have been dropped on a vacant island off shore killing no one. Instead they were used in the most horrific way. I am very very sorry that this was done and I apologize now and forever to Japan for this. I am glad our countries now have good relations, but we the US need to learn to respect and honour other countries and be sincere and honest about our own mistakes not only in the present and the future but the past as well to show our good faith.

I pray for the hundreds of thousands who died in these bombs and the fire bombs as well none of which were justified. No matter what other countries do, our own must never indulge in such acts and must take responsiblity for them when they have occured.

Yes thank you for doing what the stupid US liberal leadership refused to do. support the legal and legitimate government of a soverign Country, Syria, just because they formed a liberal fantasy idea that they didnt like President Assad. I am very glad someone has had the courage and the strnegth to fight and defeat the monsters of the ISIS gang of criminals who are among the worst offenders against humanity in a long long time. The US president refuses to condemn arab terrorists over and over and I am not surprised it took Syria itself and Russia to start to really pushing ISIS back.

Donald Trump is the first man in a long time to offer to serve in public office in the USA that has both the brains and the courage and also real administrative experience to lead the country well. He also is one of the first to speak the truth about the tidal wave of illegal imigration threatening not only the US but Europe as well because modern Liberal leaders who believe in the fantasy of equality and excessive entitlement for anyone ...have led us all down a path to destruction. It is fine for Trump to support other nations helping defend themselves. I am glad he will win and will save the US.
