I hate to say it but I think that from the beginning of this affair, the U. S. is reacting instead of acting I wonder who is in charge of this whole mess at the White House. And why has a young idiot gotten so much power that he is threatening the whole U. S. intelligence community? A person such as him should have access to very limited information. Now that the damage is done, I hope that the NSA has learned its lesson. I hope there are changes in the NSA.

I so not like traitors. But since this traitor has already done the damage, I would advice the NSA to change their protocol and to change the way their contractors get sensitive information. And PLEASE do not allow anyone to leave NSA premises with laptops.

Posted in: U.S. opposes bullying by China in disputed seas See in context

I believe that what the U. S. should do is create a NATO of Asia to contain China. I know that this is easier said than done but, remember that all those smaller countries want China to back off. Therefore it is in their interest to work together to contain China. It is for their own good. This is the point that need to be hammered on them.

I knoiw that the U. S. is a bit litigious at times but this is a prime example of why be litigious. You see, if those hospitals were sued by this man's family member or a friend, these hospitals would change their ways very quickly. There would be a surplus of emergency rooms.

Posted in: China calls on Japan to halt entries into disputed waters See in context

We have a saying in the old country: give them a finger and the'll take the whole arm. or in the U.S. we say, give them an inch and they will take a foot. China is acting like a bully who is trying to get ALL of the south islands. They should not be allowed to get any of the disputed islands, otherwise, mark my words, they will take the whole area. - remember Tibet - I wish Japan will continue to show resolve. Good Luck!

Posted in: China says 40th anniversary of Japan ties ruined by island row See in context

I believe that Japan should immediately declare the island Japanese and make it part of Japan. Only by doing this will China finally have to accept the fact. China must not be allowed to push Japan around. China may have been able to do that to Tibet but please don't let them do that to Japan!

Posted in: S Korea hates Japan more than N Korea, Gallup Poll reveals See in context

I wonder how the South Koreans would feel as the atomic bombs from North Korea start to fall on their heads? Would they continue to hate Japan more than the North Koreans?

Posted in: What if Iran gets the bomb? See in context

In this article, the idea that Iran should get the A-bomb is absolute nonsense. Not only have Iran threaten Israel but the the West and the U. S. in particular. One must realize that Iran is governed by a Theocracy. If one of their leader says that he heard God telling him to drop the bomb, they will drop it. There is another item to consider: if a lot of unstable, Theocracies or terrorist organization (such as the Taliban) take over the government of a country and they have atomic bombs, the world would be in trouble. Good Luck!

Posted in: Okinawa governor rejects U.S. Osprey deployment See in context

I think that the United States should be very sensitive to the Okinawa's problems and inconveniences. True, the United States have all the right in the world to be there - We don't want a repeat of Pearl Harbor - but the Japanese people are our friends and allies now. So, lets have patience and sensitivity, please. I am sure that if we show the Okinawa's that we are listening to their problems and concerns, they will respond positively.

First of all, I like Japanese people. What you have done to your country is outstanding. You are now one of the most poweful countries in the world. However, when it comes to the past, you folks seem to have a malady called collective amnesia. You folks forgot that YOU, not the Americans started the war. You folks forgot that YOU, not the Americans killed scores of Chinese in Nanking and other cities of China. You folks forgot that if the Ameircans had invated the mainland instead of dropping the A-bomb, You would have lost a heck of a lot more civilians. Because in case you folks forgot, the civilians were incouraged to fight the American soldiers. Of course YOU have forgot a lot... Oh, by the way I think you have also fortotten about the experiments done on LIVE HUMAN BEINGS.

I remember an American ex-pow in a Japanese camp (of river Kwai fame) who said in an interview that the Japanese officers in their camp would mount on horses and move through a group of POW and kill them with swords in an orgy of killings. I think that if the Japanese people do not learn and know their horrible past history they will repeat it in the future.
