You will need to have excellent Japanese language skills, proof of income and the ability to show that you can support yourself and a spouse/family. In many cases, these apps or services require users to submit proof of address in Japan and annual income or any properties owned, since these are “selling points” that will attract potential partners.
This is blatantly false.

Posted in: Scallops for sale on U.S. base See in context
I worked for the State Department at Zama for years. Food is much better on the outside than on the inside except for peanut butter and butter.
So much base food is frozen, processed, and in huge quantities that inevitably get freezer burned unless you mass consume like what you see in the photo, and those huge shopping carts.
Back in the day though, booze was much cheaper, and cigs too.
Was at Zama last week, and there really is no fresh seafood section. The veggies look old as do the fruits. Fruits and veggies are usually bought out on the economy because they are not good enough for the Japanese consumer.
But excellent to see America supporting the Japanese. Have seen scallops on sale in Yamato at various stores but the prices are still the same.

My blood is A-
When I worked for the state department the bases here really wanted my blood.
But when I go to blood donation centers here on the economy they tell me sorry, we do not want your blood. So I question them about negative and positive Rh factors and the workers do not even know what it means. I am sure the doctors do.
Too bad they do not want my disease-free blood, but if I ever need an operation I will ask them to store my blood just for me.

Let the Chinese buy if they want to as the properties are not being sent to China. And if no Japanese are picking them up, I see nothing wrong with flooding their monies here.

Japanese fish in the eight food stores I pass on my daily walks rain or shine is fabulous. Super fresh and the choices are amazing. Due to fuel costs high, there have been some price increases, but follow the seasonal selections and all is fine.
I support nuclear energy and support Fukushima. Fabulous fruits as well.
China has released much more dirty water than all the combined releases Fukushima plans on doing.
