It is rather ignorant of people to tell China to just "get over it", they suffered horribly under the IJA, some folk who lived through the atrocities are still alive.

Besides, there are other groups of people who still go on about atrocities they suffered in the past, if they can, why can't China?

No-one even pause to think just WHY the woman in the story is acting in this way?

I suppose you think it's the Husbands fault?

I'm not surprised, marriage for men these days is a very risky deal, and a lot end up getting hurt because of it.

Since it’s opened its border China has never invaded another country for the sake of its own ideology, toppled a government, or interfered with other countries’ internal affairs

How do you explain the war with Vietnam or India then?

China has stepped up to be a responsible citizen of the world in a very short time, admitting its wrongs before, and helping other poor countries to improve their living conditions, to say just a few.

If that's the case, then why do the people of South East Asia object to China's presence so much?

Where is this unparalleled creativity hiding?

Today? hard to say really. But even though Disney may rehash fairy tales and whatnot, you can't deny that they are very good adaptions

Usually.

So because someone may not like something that suddenly popular, it makes them jealous?

Great logic.

It still is rather distasteful of ministers visiting a place which enshrines men who brought horrific suffering to East and South East Asia some decades ago. The koreans and chinese have every right to be offended, I'm sure there's Filipinos who feel the same way.

This could all be solved by removing the names of the convicted criminals enshrined there.

I wouldnt worry about foreigners taking all the "attractive" girls from Japanese guys. Foreigners tend to settle for the average ones and be happy enough with what they have. Japanese guys still maintain most of the attractive ones, they are just giving away some of the second and third tier ones.

Nonsense. they don't "give away" any women, foreign men can just as easily land an attractive Japanese women as a Japanese guy can, I will grant you that there are some who will just "settle" for one.

Agreed that its the daughters choice, but you forget this article mentions that when they want to LEAVE and find something else to do for a living they find themselves in a rather hard up situation that leads them back to the sex industry (Soaplands, bar hostess, etc...). I don't think someone enjoys their job so much when they want to leave it for something they feel is better for them emotionally. Your comment shows you're only thinking in the way that most men think when porn is something they want to see.

I know but I was referring to the one's who don't want to leave the profession and enjoy it.

It's my understanding that those who want independence from the UK were peeved at the thought of revenues from North Sea oil and gas going into English coffers

It's more to do with not wanting to part of a Tory-lead coalition government.

Go Scotland, break free of the nasty party while you can.

Which is yet another reason why most people wouldn't want their daughters to start in the first place.

At the end of the day, it's the daughters choice, there's a number of porn stars who entered young and enjoy their job.
