different law jurisdiction doesnt allow another country to force you to give up your birth citizenship. No, but they can revoke the citizenship for their country.

this is where the understanding of the word jurisdiction comes in handy. they cannot revoke any citizenship at all, they maybe can make your passport invalid but as soon as you back in your other country you get a new one.... or just visit your embassy in any country to replace your passport... very easy to understand... you cant compare apples with tomatos cos each country got their own jurisdiction and this jurisdiction ends on the border!!!

this dual citizenship discussion is kinda nonsense. cos you have two countries with two different immigration laws. under two different jurisdictions.

most countries have following law, when you born to parents of that country you will get their citizenship. you will never ever loose this under their law.

just take up the new citizenship and keep your old one, different law jurisdiction doesnt allow another country to force you to give up your birth citizenship. plain and simple!! my girl friend for example got 3 different citizenships and i got two. learn about the word: jurisdiction! you dont have to tell nobody whats going on in a different country where different law applies... and those two countries do not communicate cos its a different JURISDICTION!!!

i agree with the train driver. to many foreigners in japan is a horror.... a few will blend perfectly in but to many create stress, trouble and same problems they got in their countries... keep foreigners to a minimum in japan!!! thats the reason why i live here.... say yes to mono race, mono language and mono culture. thats the word almost every japanese guy told me... the 3 big M"s. japan keep it that way!! nature designed it like that. try to mix up different species in animal world what would you get? my wife is doing 8 night shifts as a nurse, pays 35000 yen per night shift.... can rent house buy food and pay all bills.. and save money for 3month thailand . living outside the hell ... in a quit area near hachioji... winter time we spend 3month in thailand, cost for this is 100000 yen per month.... rent house and motobike food and pay all bills... life in japan can be heaven if you disconnect yourself from the nonsense system...

scare tactics only. someone knock on the door... lol... how do they prove its a business deal if someone stay in a house that is someones private property? hotel industry has to get used to it... there are always ways to get around airbnb as well by contacting the host directly.... try reverse email. so many empty properties in japan and owners has to pay property tax each year as well....

nobody can and will stop airbnb and uber...

PS: airbnb standards in japan very low.

@ trouble best comment! in this society no point in having kids... the society will raise them not the parents cos they to busy with work..... no time means no connection to the kids and no bond.... i still havnt seen a functional family where parents really bond with the kids in japan. do you?
