Posted in: Starbucks vs two popular Japanese coffee shops: Which gives best value? See in context

Starbucks has gone to become factory food and drink style and quality. Coffee and step above 7/11 but nor worth the price. IMHO a French press or glass vacuum type brewer at home is cheapest and best flavor. On the street select best social and freshest pastries.

The cleanest and cheapest electricity is HYDROELECTRIC . Nicolai Tesla and Westinghouse Co, built the first hydroelectric plant over 100 years ago at Niagara Falls on the Canada USA border by Buffalo NY. These plants are still there making cleanest cheapest power today. USA pays an average of .12 KWhr and Sweden also did the smart move using Hydroelectric https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/electricity-rates-around-the-world.html

All emigrants are welcome in USA as so many come in every year, But you have to come in legally as my wife did and it takes 6mo to a year. It's ez and you can do it yourself online. Anyone can come in a educational visa or tourist visa also. Many stay and lead productive lives and none are looking for these people starting Sunday. They are actively seeking criminal elements and those who are danger to society or illegally collecting govt programs.

Posted in: King coal rules for power utilities in Japan See in context

Until the Hydrogen economy blooms the best cleanest you can use is Natural gas. It burns in the same plants you burn coal in and USA has plenty to sell :) I'm sure Trump will get Japan a special deal and low price. USA lowered CO2 by 1/3 switching.

the Heanous part of coal is the fly ash that contains mercury that lands in the sea and eaten by microorganisms...that get eaten by small fishes ...that get eaten by larger fish and concentrated in that fish....that gets eaten by Tuna and Albacore that gets big dose of Mercury and why your fish full of large amounts of Mercury . BTW radioactive isotopes can also concentrate this way in biological paths

America soes not use rare earth metals much. But they are used to manufacture products in China sent to USA. There are productive mines for Rare Earth metals in USA but were closed due to environmental concerns.

Historically when America cannot find a reserve needed the ingenious engineers find a better and cheaper replacement . Necessity is the mother of invention.

Hypochondriacs have it EZ today :) My dad was what I jokingly called the healthiest hypochondriac in the world. Everytime he had symptoms he would read medical books and what he might have. Many times he went to doctors. Luckily he went to top docs cause many would recomend uneeded treatments and surgery that just might hurt him more than help.

Perhaps it's time to shift production to smaller countries to get chance to grow like China. Anything China makes could also be made in cheaper cost countries like Philippines , Vietnam , Cambodia , Taiwan , Korea , and even Japan. lets give others a chance at rapid growth and bring some back to USA also.
