Posted in: Obama, Xi urge new relationship amid hacking row See in context

Author, do you think that Xi has travelled ten thousand of mills to meet Obama only for hacking issue? Why your guys always report negatively about China. These two big men will talk about whole issues that the world has faced, including Japan's right turn and its plan for re-militarism. Japan, you think that you are ally with USA but you are small one. For the world issue, USA wants to talk to China first and then Russia and then may be India, then Europe and then.... Please do not be jealous. You are a small fish compared to China and USA.

I do not know what japan can do about the island situation. China has actually controlled the island since last year by sending ships and airplants every day. There is no turn back now. We all know that China will do what she says. Not like japan who is only saying but no action. China has learned fron US of A, strength is every thing. I can see that most japanese are still living in 19 or 20 centeries when Chinese have no say about her own terms, Now, or just 5 years ago, the situation has been changed. China has felt that she is strength enough to say somethings and ask what belong to her. All issues that have been put aside 20 or 30 years ago can be re-put on the table now, icluding the islands in the South China seas. Chinese have a say "10 years is not too late for a justice". It seems that the day has comes and China will get all that belong to her back, no matter what.

I think that Abe has over estimated his and japan's ability to pursure South easten countries to counter China. China has built pretty solid relationship with most South easten countries even though China has territory issues with Phillipine and Vetnanm. It is very hard for Asian people to fully trust and accept japan because its brutality during WWII. Even in the surface Asian people admire japan for its generousity (give out money) but in their heart, they do not like japan to be strong again. Do not count some politician in phillipine who want japan to help its country to fend out China in the dispute, real phillipine people do not support such notion. japan, you do have a lot of good people but you also have some nasty and crizypeople as well. The action and will against China will never success because China is so big, so sophisticated, and so capable. History has displayed that China will be never conqured by outsider but China can melt you in the long run, japan (even though you have temporarily occupied China before). Remember, reality is painful.

Posted in: U.S. urges calm in China-Japan dispute See in context

sfjp330, it is opposite to your assessment and actually it is japan in a big mess, not China. Before japan govt bought the island, China has never send they ship to patro the island. Now, every day China send boats to that area and japan can not do anything about it except shout around the world but with silent response, even USA will not stand by japan. In addition to this, japan's economy has been hitten badly. Both these situations will last until japan back off. For japan, China is too big to be challanged, you will realize this painfully.

OssanAmerica, the reality is China has patro the surounding areas and has not stopped even with japan's complaint. Take my words, China will not stop doing this and Chinese fishing boats will fish around that island until japan back down. You should back to the reality.

Posted in: U.S., Japan to hold joint military drill amid island row with China See in context

japan has totally lost the island which what ever you call it because China will continue and forever to patrol around the island. Chinese boats have started to chase out the japanese ships around that area and noe the island and surround areas are under Chinese control. japan and US navy drilsl can not do anything to change the situation around the island. I am sorry to say this - japan has got what it do not want by formally buy the island. It is clear now that move by japanese to buy the island was a bad move. It has given China a reason to move in and control it forever unless japan is going to back to the start point - admit that there is a dispute on th island. It is painful for japan to do so but there is not other way to come out. It hurts but it is a reality. China does not act like japan which only can shout around but no action. China has acted and when China acts, you will feel pain. No body can help you, not god and not us of A. Millitary drill is a show business, notthing more and nothing less. Please do not treat it seriously. It is a knid of spirit drug which only makes you feel high for a little well. China is too strong for you take on even with usa's help both economically and millitarily. Dream is sweet but Reality hurts.

Why you want to put more petro on the fire?

Most of you guys here do not know what are you talk about this carrier. It is a training ship not for combat purpose. It has numbered 16, two digites number which is for training ship. All the staff on the carrier have 5% female and 95% university graduates, more than 50 with doctor degree and hundreds with master degree. They are not real army personnel but trainers. Chinese will use this ship to train real navy personnel, airplane, defence system and attack system for their other at least three carriers that are under construction. Please get some fact first then comment, do not be too emotional.

If japan goes to nuclear, both America and China will stop you or distroy you for sure. America knows well about japan and it will not tolerance japan to go nuclear. You guys think that American army stay in japan only for pretect you from Korean or Chinese attacking you? You are wrong. American in japan is primaryly provent japan to go to military again. This was the purpose in 1945 and this is the purpose now. No mistake.

Trade war hurts both sides but will hurt japan more because japan at the moment relys on Chinese trade more. China is largest trade partner to Japan but japan is probably fourth or fifth largest to China. China can give more business to USA and European or even Korean. Japan will not only loss the trade war but will loss the island as well for sure because China is so resolved to get it back this time because there is no excuse to get it back before. Military war with China? You better do not think about it. Japan will not go too far.

Guys, territory dispute has nothing to do with "human right" or "communist". Does japan has dispute with Sough Korea? Yes you do. Communist or not, Chinese will fight to get what belongs to them back. Actually if not because of "communist" govt, Chinese will go to the street every day to demonstrate against those countries who has grabbed Chinese territories and burn a few facilities that belong to those countries for sure. You guys do not know how Chinese feel about japan and usa. USA is a big hypocrite and japan is just its little brother. That usa old lady is just a big hypocrite. In China she has a very bad name and nobody respect her. Chinese will be just like your japanese to fight for your territory, nothing less nothing more. Please do not bring "human right" issue here and use it as a tool against China in every case. It does not work. On the territory issue, Chinese always behaved no different from other country's people - for their nation, not for the govt.
