What exactly did she think would happen after saying garbage like that?

If Turkey doesn’t accept him back, fly the short tempered fool in a plane close to the border and give him a parachute.

He has far overstated his welcome and needs to leave

He has a point, KJU will be flying in a Soviet era clunky transport plane unless his Chinese masters supply him with something newer.

I would say half the world are hoping his plane malfunctions during the flight and puts an end to this farce once and for all

Glad that this law has no penalties for non compliance. Gender quotas are about as silly as it gets. Keep this garbage out of Japan

Posted in: Trump says 'We'll see' on N Korea summit, but insists on denuclearization See in context

Well didn’t take long for NK to make moves to undermine this upcoming summit. I think it’s becoming clear they never had any intention of denuclearizing.

If that is the case, then the military option is all that’s left. NK has already wasted enough time with this farce

Posted in: N Korea casts doubt on Trump summit if U.S. insists on unilateral denuclearisation See in context

NK has no grounds for complaint here, they are the provocateurs by developing nukes and sending missiles over Japan.

It is completely on them to negotiate their denuclearization, because if talks fail their nation will be eliminated from the planet and not a single person will shed a tear

The US guaranteeing the security of such a foul nation as NK leaves quite the bitter aftertaste in the mouth. Am not sure how the US could reconcile such a position in future without significantly damaging their clout elsewhere.

Why should only skilled workers receive better wages?

Because they contribute an outsized value to the economy and so are rewarded as such. Unskilled work can be done by anyone or just automated completely, so why would we reward them? Business isn't a charity for the lazy and unskilled

Excellent economic news again. Even though the population is shrinking, the economy is heating up, meaning better productivity and wages for the skilled workers of the economy.

Posted in: Japan gov't debt hits record-high Y1,087 tril at end of March See in context

Not remotely an issue. Firstly, Japan has no obligation to ever repay these debts, especially with such low borrowing costs.

Second, the entire aim of the government for the past 5 years has been to whittle the debt away through inflation, which is certain to happen.

There’s a reason why even though Japan has such high public debt, it’s currency and government bonds are considered the safest on Earth.

Posted in: Trump-Kim summit set for June 12 in Singapore See in context

Singapore is a good pick. Seeing as it’s away from NK, the NKs will have to bring a lot to offer as there is no quick retreat and both parties will likely feel obliged to reach some sort of deal.

Only complete NK denuclearization and disarmament of ballistic missiles is acceptable at this stage.

These sick schools for losers always breed the same ilk, failed desperate men who treat girls as cattle.

These so called pick up artists are all a menace to the public and glad these morons are arrested and the especially egregious foreign ones are barred from the country

Nah it will be fine. The more important thing is to make sure every last tourist who enters the country also leaves without overstaying. I get the feeling the Olympics will be a field day for illegals, so might be good to use it for a wider crackdown at the same time

Posted in: Trump abandons Iran nuclear deal, to revive sanctions See in context

A poor decision, but the silver lining here is that NK knows it’s in deep, deep trouble now.

They now know from the start that they will have to surrender everything to appease Trump otherwise not only will sanctions be increased and the nation strangled to the point of death, but they will probably have to be eliminated by force.

NK is soiling itself right now I’d say

Posted in: Pingpong diplomacy: Koreas join teams at table tennis worlds See in context

Yeah you were arguing the Pyeongchang Winter games would be remembered as a farce because of similar gestures of peace with ice hockey. The truth is rather different isn't it? It's turning out to be the prelude to a seismic shift in the peace process in the Korean peninsula. Where's that Korean war you were predicting?

Nope, there has been no peace yet has there? In fact nothing so far has changed since then besides the fact that NK has likely built up another few dozen nukes and hidden them in caves. The only progress we have seen is the removal of border speakers and Kim Jong Un and Moon hugging and holding hands to make the most unattractive couple in history.

Nothing has happened yet so am unsure why you think this is a seismic shift? I will gladly eat my words if NK goes on to destroy all their nukes, destroys their entire nuclear weapon making capacity, submit to extremely intrusive inspections, agrees to a peace treaty with SK, opens up the borders with the South, and demilitarizes the border and agree to arms reductions.

Until that happens, then yes, this is all a farce that only a useful idiot would fall for

Posted in: Beijing reported to have installed missiles on South China Sea islands See in context

This is what happens when you allow these things to develop.

Just notice how China’s position on these “islands” has changed over the past 4 years: first the dubious territorial claims, then secret reclamation work and building, then denial of military intent, then secret military construction, then acknowledgement of military intent and assertion of sovereignty, now aggressive military expansion and threats.

This has continued every day for the past 4 or so years.

He took a 16 year old girl back to his apartment and tried to get it on with her. He is a perverted lech and should be jailed. Paying off the victim and getting off free of charges does not send a very strong message to other perverts.

True it doesn't send a strong signal but this was privately arbitrated and all parties have agreed on closure in a civilized manner. His guilt is not in doubt and he will suffer significantly through work and socially for his grievous lack of judgment.

However, wanting to see him jailed and to suffer more hints at vindictiveness and spite, both very poor character traits and unbecoming of a modern society
