Although they were guilty of a crime and the financial cost to obtain a pardon must be massive, I have to take off my hat to Mr Clinton. I am totally surprised and this kind of direct contact is very very welcome. Well done dude.

First a poll says we support torture, now that we support using nuclear weapons on civilians. Can we take polls as serious indications of the decline of morality in our society?

Those kids must have real guts to stand up and admit to their crime. A teacher like that has probably lashed out before and they must of expected it. I would be proud of my child if they own up and except the consequences.

Just back from near there. The authorities should try installing proper clean toilets with soap in every home and town. Then introduce compulsory hygiene courses to all communities. That will at least prevent diseases in the future.

"terrorists" or just getting revenge for Australian aggression in Muslim lands? Although I disagree with all forms of violence, at least their target was supposedly a military one.

Looks like western propaganda, aimed at overthrowing the Iranian governments democratic win has backfired. Now Iranian pro-democracy protesters are terrorist, and the Uighurs, whoever are still alive will be branded terrorists. Also, China will be angry, further destroying our aims to help these people.

I hope nobody was hurt. What kind of cars were they driving? Surely, follow the truck at a reasonable distance until the old man pulls up to a petrol station is more sensible? I suspect the Funabashi City cops deliberately smashed the cars so they will get the new funky Lexis ones as a replacement...

When the second most powerful person in the world starts giving his approval to Israel to break international law, it leaves only one choice for Iran...give up the peaceful civilian nuclear progam and hurry up and make bombs.
