The houses here are totally lame. This is basically a nation of people living in glorified trailers, which is why they float off intact like this; they are plastic junk sheds.

For the love of god, calm down people. This is just how they do it in Japan. There is no danger in Tokyo at the moment, but they do this to show they have recognised what is happening and to make them look like they are in control.

These will be the only people outside of the advised 80km (30km of real danger) who will be wearing these.

Some incredibly brutal stuff has come out of Japan in the past; Flowers of Flesh and Blood was so realistic that Charlie Sheen, upon seeing it, thought he was watching a snuff film and reported it to the authorities.
