Posted in: Japan to ban physical punishment of children by parents See in context

The sad thing is that kids die because people don't do enough to take them away from abusive parents. Banning children from being physically disciplined is just going to turn them into little murderers. It's already happening in the United States since false data has been propagated on child punishment as fact. There are parents that have never hit their children and given them everything and they still turned out bad. I think they just need to do more with holding the parents accountable once they find abuse. If you find the kid has damage then lock them up. Especially if there are witnesses and evidence. Have the kids carry a wire if you have to. Use technology rather than taking away any methods that may be needed to control an unruly child.

Did they not realize that the USA posted videos of hacked regular cars using regular computer controlled braking and they were able to stop a car in highway traffic to prove the point. All you have to have is a hacked Canbus or ODBII system and you are done. They can even activate your horn! ;)

Look Indicting the entire company. You might as well fire everyone that worked for Nissan till now if you are going to do that. I mean I don't see anyone apologizing their way out of this one. They didn't think this through when they kidnapped Ghosn. They just made everyone think 'screw signing contracts', they would have to prove the contracts were invalid to begin with and then indict all the lawyers that helped forge the document. He apparently illegally saved the company money while he was at it.

If you have ever had a loved one die on you and you were the only one there you would know how hard it is on some people. He probably didn't want to see her go. Even if he was a leech he would still be having a hard time. If it was over a year I would probably be more apt to go WTF. A weeks nothing compared to some of the other news articles where this has happened.

Posted in: Ghosn tells Nikkei arrest due to plot, treason within Nissan See in context

There is no way he would get any money without their lawyers approving everything. Even a CEO cannot pay himself. It doesn't even matter that people were fired in France, if it did he would have been fired because of it and he wasn't. It's obvious that it's a power play to take back the company by the very same people that let it run into the ground in the first place. There is no HR department that is just going to approve someone buying homes or pay for remodeling without some corporate approval. Having been given my own credit cards, working for a company that has international business in more countries than they do their own internal checks and balances should have prevented any money from leaving the company that wasn't approved. You don't get nothing past accountings lawyers, the HR lawyers, or the Chief Counsel unless the company approved it.

So if he was getting money past them it was through employees manipulating data within the company which they can easily do now that he is physically gone. It doesn't take much to change file dates or manipulate server data. So they are going to have to be providing more than just the local evidence to prove anything. Especially if the people that masterminded the coup had access to move assets around without him being directly involved. What's eventually going to happen is that diplomatic relations are going to put Japan, France and the US at odds with each other for holding him for so long. They could easily get the U.N. involved even if he was guilty because of the fact he was supposed to have surgery. They knew he was going to be on leave for a while which is why they setup his capture. If they overpaid him money that is on the company.

Posted in: Trump agrees to end government shutdown without border wall money See in context

Any of ya'll putting faith in the Mueller investigation need to look at the BCCI Bank scandal and then read the actual indictments for Roger Stone as posted online the day before his arrest. The fact that CNN was at the arrest shows that there are Democrats working with the FBI to release confidential information and it's not going to work in their favor as people are starting to identify that the real issue isn't the Border Wall or Trump but the new class of undercover anarchy vigilantes within government that will eventually sell out Americans even more than they already have. They moved faster to indict Republicans while the Democrats that have rigged elections and traded in shady dealings out in the open are running around free as a bird. Ballot box stuffing, destruction of evidence, refusal to enforce law already on the books, allowing non-citizens to vote in elections. Not one thing has been done about it because they are upholding the status quo just like they did with the bank, housing and automotive bailouts.

Nobody cares if Japan is not the US or France. You saw the French rioting by the thousands and you think holding this guy is going to help Japanese business relations you are out of your mind. He has been there long enough that they are showing their cards. They are trying to take the company back by orchestrating a coup without thinking that other people are going to assume they set him up from the very beginning to get the company back after it started turning a profit. If the UN starts investigating Japan they are going to have even more trouble because they are already in trouble for all the whaling announcements. The scientists don't even actually know how many of the whales are left and the issues with TEPCO have still been unresolved. All those people dying from cancer from radiation exposure and nothing has been done to the executives anywhere near this level.

Posted in: Nissan CEO calls on Renault to listen to details of Ghosn allegations See in context

How is this dude that they kidnapped going to make a public comment when they didn't even allow him to see his lawyers. This totally a coup/mutiny by Japanese management that wants to take credit for all the work that he put into making that company profitable again. Screw the fact they ended up with non-voting shares. Why would anyone have wanted a company that was failing to vote on their board. They got you out of the black and now you are backhanding the French by treating him like a criminal without everyone being able to clearly review the evidence. This completely smells like this was a setup on their end from the beginning. They just waited till the company was making money. They just showed everyone that there is no point in investing in Japan if all they are going to do is sabotage their partnerships after they make a profit. Ya'll literally kidnapped a French citizen and fired him without him being provided any due process. I hope that France reduces any aid they are expecting to get in 2019. Even if he was dirty as hell he still deserves basic justice.

Posted in: Foreign divorced parents fight in vain for child custody in Japan See in context

@Emmanuel My mom stole my sisters from my dad and she was never granted custody. They lived in two different counties in the U.S. and the court system would not force her to return them because she lied and told the court that we had been staying with her and she even went to Social Security and received financial assistance using all of our information. Meanwhile they let me leave and didn't care where I went. She put both of my sisters in mental institutions because she said they didn't listen to her. (Obviously because she kidnapped them.) I can't even imagine having to deal with bureaucrats from multiple countries to have to see my kids. That is just insane. The fact that the UN wasn't involved is crazy as well.

How in the world did he carry a replica weapon into a police box without them seeing it? That officer died because he was left alone. There has to be more to this story.

Hoplophobia is thick in this comment section. You can tell who you wouldn't want to have around you in an emergency situation because they wouldn't defend anyone if it meant killing another person to save your life or theirs. They would rather run and believe in their false pride and sense of security.

I hope Serena provides evidence and sues the crap out of that referee. There is no reason for her to cheat. The girl who won better consult a magic 8-ball because they are not going to let that go without a fight. Especially with all of the stuff going down with the NFL. They drug test Serena more than any other female player and now they have show they are willing to throw a match for some money.

If I was Japanese I would expect Japan to economically assist the Japanese first. They owe nothing to Korea and it's not any of the UN's business either. The UN is constantly allowing crazy stuff to go down in Korea and elsewhere and the Japanese do not benefit from helping an economic competitor. It's silly. If my countries people were abducted and killed and not returned then I am not going to deal with them at all. Let them figure out their own mess.

They should move this statue to Tokyo and put another smaller one in its place. I think it's too big. Had it been smaller and not yellow there would have been less to harp about. Since it had toured already then I am sure they have gotten some feedback along the same lines.

There are tons of remote mower solutions that can mow under solar panels.

Remote Control Slope Mower - TRX-48-PRO & TRX-52-PRO

Spider Mini RC Mower

Husqvarna Automower Series

Also grass meant to be mulched isn't manure. Manure is animal waste.

It would never get high enough to need anything the size of a bulldozer if the mower was programmed to cut on a rotation.

If they set aside reparations in 1995 and acknowledged the problem then what else is there.

The people that participated are all dead probably anyway and if not its not likely that they will ever be able to atone the way people want them to. Put it in the history books. Make sure people on both sides know it happened and do better.

Let them put up the statute to raise awareness that it happened but don't blame anyone that wasn't born during that time for it. It's shaming people that never did anything.

Let China and Korea handle their own business. There is no shadow being cast over anything. This isn't drama club. They didn't dent Japan's hit points by mentioning people were killed because the entire world knows what happened. You don't see modern day Germany having any problems.

Attacking people in a news post isn't going to make up for it. People just like virtue signalling.
