Offer CHEAP flights to places away from the disasters all around the country and the tourist will come including ME.

The wedding, the souvenirs, the coverage of it all over the world will bring in money to United Kingdom. People came from all over the world to London to see the wedding - some as far away as United States. Now isn't that good - for tourism and for the image of the royal family and UK as a whole?

I wonder if my own Prime Minister will be able to deal with the kind of problems and disasters that Kan-san have to go through? It must be hard on him, on everyone. I think that he and his government have been quite forthright considering that other previous Japanese and other Asian leaders (mine included) would not want to show the world how 'weak' they are.

the old people are probably used to 'disaster' having probably gone through the 'disaster' in World War 2. They know how to survive, probably better than the younger generations who probably have never lived without electricity. Learn from your grandma/grandpa.

Perhaps if there were more and earlier footage of the destruction that took place to my neighbouring country INDONESIA of its tsunami in 2004 fast HELP and relief efforts would have come to them sooner than later and save more lives. As it is we my countrymen we the first to go to Acheh after the disaster and telephone (by satellite) for international HELP. Sometimes it is necessary to show such footage(s) and disaster as soon as possible so that HELP can be sent as soon as possible to save as many lives as possible. Hey, what footage of war? Iraq? Libya?

Just one incident like this is reported and everyone are condemning the whole people of Japan? And remember the police there are doing a good job otherwise they would never have caught him!!! Look again at pictures/videos/stories of people who are helping one another in relief centers, the volunteers and ... need I say more? I'm sure you understand what I mean. Would our countrymen be as calm and avoid mass looting as the people of Japan? Hmmm.

I am a kindergarten teacher. I feel it is beneficial for children to go to school at least it brings some normalcy in their life, they will be able to see their friends, it will make parents and teachers get back to living. Children can make us forget (at least for a moment) the disaster probably going on around them/us.

The same thing are probably happening or might happen in other countries with nuclear power plants all over the world! Please check YOUR nuclear power plants or make your governments and the nuclear companies enclose ALL information to you, (the citizens of countries with nuclear power plants) right now about the safety of the plants. To my country leaders, I will not allow them to open a nuclear power plant in my country. Period.
