Don't know if the dude is innocent or guilty. But as we all know, some men are very possessive and well...they can't mentally handle being rejected. And looking at her photo, she's cute as a button!

From what I read, he seemed to have been very upset / angered that she was dating some other man.

This is a joke right? Do we get coupons for free pizza too?

if this is the best the world’s third largest economy can do to protect its citizens, then God help us all!

Posted in: Experts warn of health care collapse in Japan if virus keeps spreading See in context

Don’t go out on the weekends or at night. But please get on the crowded trains and report to work as usual during the weekdays.

The Japanese government care more about economic health than the health of its citizens.

And the sad part is, most Japanese go along with that cause they are all programmed from birth, “がんばれ!!!”

Funny how our personal time is infringed upon by the government but weekdays we must still go to work to keep the Japanese industrial machine moving. I say we all just stay home.

He was a very heavy smoker. Probably had COPD from that. Supposedly heavy smokers are more apt to have serious complications. RIP!

Posted in: Tokyo confirms 68 new coronavirus cases; 27 at Taito Ward hospital See in context

With Japan's archaic "がんばれ!” thinking, companies here will never allow workers to stay home for two weeks like most other "sane" countries in the world are allowing. least mine won't.

When will the Japanese government take their heads out of the sand and realize that you must order people not to go out, not ask them nicely. Jeez!!

Japanese polite to the bitter end.

“Sir, please isolate yourself if you can. I’m sorry to have to ask you. Please don’t be angry sir. “

No one will self isolate if it’s voluntary.

Great job Japan.

Seriously...all of a sudden after the Olympics are postponed, we now here this disease is rampant throughout Japan???

And when will they issue an apology for basically sending the world into a tailspin. And for those who say the virus didn't storiginate in Hubei are factually wrong.

Posted in: Beware of false groping charges, rip-off clubs, shakedowns over sex See in context

Never heard of groping on the trains until I came to Japan. Never seen it or heard about in Canada. Could be that Canadian women wouldn't put up with it. You'd get a good kick in the groin or punch in the face. Or maybe Canadian dudes don't do it. Not sure why it's so rampant in Japan.

Of course This “Bach” guy doesn’t want the games canceled or postponed. If they were he’d have to give back all the kick back money and bribes he has received.

I hope he will be personally there to give a hug and a handshake to all the athletes, especially those teams from Chiba, Italy, Iran, and Spain where the virus is out of control.

And with idiot decisions like this, not testing people who should get tested, we are supposed to believe that Japan only has less than 1000 cases of this disease?? Yeah right!

Funny how people think the IOC has power over any foreign government to demand / order that the Olympics go on even if the hosting country decides it’s in its best interest to postpone it. Lol!

I was downvoted but the markets just proved me right. All of Tuesday’s gains taken out on Wednesday with huge volume trading in both the Dow and Nasdaq.

Only way to prevent further market carbons to ban short trades.

Japan's death rate is about 0.6%. Probably much, much lower since there are many who have the coronavirus but showed mild symptoms and/or haven't been tested to the level of countries like South Korea. I'd guesstimate about a 0.2% death rate. Maybe lower.

By good ole days you mean the 80's? The yen was somewhere like 250yen per 1 USD.

Posted in: People in Chinatown, who have supported this city's development over many years, have been suffering great pains over matters related to the new coronavirus. I'm utterly infuriated by the fact that these letters were sent to them. See in context

No idea what the contents of the letters were but facts don't lie. Almost every major viral outbreak in the past 20 years, SARS, H4N1, and now COVID-19 have originated in China.

This is due to the fact that the Chinese eat animals that have no business being eaten and thus we have these viruses jumping over to humans.

The eating habits and hygiene related to animals kept for eating purposes, of the Chinese need fixing or we'll see more of these deadly viruses in the future.

I read a 2016 study that showed a combination of the antibiotic Levofloxcin and the antiviral Tamiflu was quite effective against Severe Viral Pneumonia brought on by the flu, various corona viruses, and so on.

Going to try and get both of those. Cause when the poo hits the fan medicine will be hard to come by!
