Too bad for him! He ticked all the “progressive” boxes and so his movie was practically guaranteed the prize from the “academy”. However, in sick, corrupt, hypocritical Hollywood a movie can’t be judged on its merits but on the woke credentials of its makers.
When he revealed himself as a free thinker the death knell sounded.
As it has for this idiocy.

So you think the main goal of the mainstream news is to inform us?
Is one of the tools people can use to be informed, much better than others but in no way the only one. It is much more useful to include it as a source than pretend it does not exist and that you can take better decisions on ignorance.
LMAO. You're joking, right? Mainstream 'news' does not inform; it is political propaganda. The fact you don't see that obvious fact is because your brain agrees with the message it is being spoon fed.

Yeah, that system that ONLY benefitted white males for centuries.
No one denies that in predominantly white countries that was true, but those centuries have long gone. Except in the brainwashed mind.
whine about trying to make the playing field more equal.
That old chestnut. No playing fields are 'level'. Take actual playing fields. Everyone who earns good money on playing fields have worked damn hard and dedicated their lives to being the best they can be at their chosen sport. Some are predominately white, some predominately non-white. Others are mixed. You seem to be suggesting real levelling of the field would give an advantage to people of a certain sex, color or whatever identity you choose, and ignoring their talent. Perhaps they should open a space for Dany De Vito in the NBA. Sure, some people are born disadvantaged, but that's life. You make the most of it. Blaming their disadvantage on the white man is ridiculous. Give me an example of how white man is subduing anyone.
