Tis very odd, the 'brit' look. Wonder why it is so much copied. Jp Samurai kit or similar would be soooo much more beautiful/impressive/majestic etc.

SebastianFlyte at 12:27 PM JST - 8th June American cars are among the worst in the world, so finally they have succumb to the "survival of the fittest" notion that they themselves too often put forward as some kind of business rule.

What's wrong with that 'survival of the fittest' idea as 'business rule'? Since when did good productive and honest business flourish best as a charity organisation?

A death for a death mentality is the most primitive and least effctive form of social justice, it lingers on in any 'lynchmob' based system, as in USAs Southern States(see the stats that back this up). At best it has the effect of squeezing a boil. ie - one person becomes the focus in a seething, screaming mass of revenge, and when eliminated - the noise dies down, but only temporarily. It does not help to expect 'western style' morality or justice - from a social order that does not have the same roots. For small easy example - a western 'sin' against morality - comes from an interpretation of the idea of 'bearing false witness' - considered immoral in the west.

But 'lying' to put an enemy, or social alien - for whatever reason, into the can, is not viewed in the same light in other societies/philosophies. People not accustomed to the idea - who come up against that experience, and find their good name, or good reputation, damaged, may find it incomprehensible and evil, and very hard to deal with. A very different kind of 'defence' consciousness is necessary in order to do so, morally.

with so much water around, including paddyfields with easily enough depth to drown an infant, I suggest somebody - immediately!, right now!, yesterday!, comes up with a kiddie-lightweight life jacket. Something that will be a 'must have' for all stylish kiddos and moms and pops for their little ones. Someone invent it and promote it NOW, please.

International trial by telly is how it looks. Justice remade as just another reality tv, or talent show, - stinks. Let it be shown on telly when the thing is finished, and the judgement made.

everyone dies a week after they might have died because of, or been killed by, something else. Its just that it doesnt ALL get into the papers, and who knew, anyway.

Im always impressed by how many jp travellers sleep so peacefully, apparently on their way to or from work. Im impressed, too, by any culture that creates its eating habits as the absorbtion of required fuels/medications etc, rather than stoking up the boiler with 'stuff' that tastes ok. SO it doesnt surprise me much that there are jp extremists in the arts of eating and absorbing 'right'. And the kit with which to administer it. Loyalty to company often looks tragic, to me, since it appears to encourage some of the most bitter infighting I have seen anywhere, all in the best possible taste, of course. (Worse still - appears any slavish affection from women for 'bosses')
