The biggest baseball story of the week in Japan was Rintaro Sasaki choosing to play for Stanford. Looks like JT missed it?

Moderator: No, the story is in the sports section.

De Bruyne still got it. Arguably the best striker of a ball the Premiership has seen.

As opposed to a striker of something else?

Too much speculation, suggestion and leaks on what might have happened and what might been said, as 'experts' get their sound bites in.

But JapanToday is my goto site for expert analysis .!.

Judging from all of the comments thus far, I can safely assume nobody posting here knows anything about cinema. Surely none have written, produced, directed, filmed and edited professional music videos. This article raises pertinent questions that more knowledgeable people must answer, so the cerebrally sedentary public will know what films they should be supporting.

Bow down to Marc .!.

Posted in: Yamamoto agrees to $325 million 12-year deal with Dodgers: reports See in context

Perhaps you should follow the sport and not individual players. Year after year Dodgers trade or sign the best players, top 3 highest payroll, have one of the best records in the MLB and still choke in the playoffs.

Same thing will happen this year.

Posted in: Cyclists can pose risks both to others and themselves. We expect people to ride bicycles in a way in which they can fully hear the sounds around them. See in context

I was just walking down a one way road with no sidewalk to the station and delivery trucks as usual were illegally parked blocking any pedestrian shoulder so I had to walk around the truck in the street and an old guy in a car came down and had no intention to slow down or move over as I passed around the truck in the street.

Nobody cares

Posted in: Daihatsu to halt shipment of all models over rigged safety tests See in context

We were toying with the idea of getting a kei as a 2nd car for non-expressway use up at our country house. I was considering Daihatsu over Suzuki due to Suzuki's history of poor quality with their vehicles sold in the US. Its connection to Toyota also added to the perception of higher quality. But, now, I might have to take another look at Suzuki. (That is, if we even follow through with the idea. We're still trying to figure out what our next main vehicle will be.)

Thanks for sharing.
