Japan sucks. why would anyone want to spend time / money there. have fun in the radiation capital of the world. If you choose to waste you time in the land of the racist people that never abide by the conventions they sign.. then you deserve the crappy treatment you get. screw japan..... asia has much better locations to enjoy.

Vernie - They arent teaching it at all in Japan. In fact I worked in a university in Japan and none of the text boos we used had any mention of the transgression. I was told point blank that "Japan didnt do that." "It was all Chinese propaganda" - "The Nanjing massacre never happened."

This is not about when children are taught about the things japan did in the war, but whether or not Japan will tell the truth about the thousands of sex slaves to its own people.

Japan screams about the fact that a few of its people were kidnapped by the N. Koreans, but never do they stand up and take responsibility for the millions of people killed and totured in a very nazi like fashion. The USA may have interned Japanese in the USA, but the Japanese did far worse things to chinese, koreans, Philippinos, and lot s more throughout asia.

Time to start teaching the truth Japan. You only look more and more foolish to the world as you deny what EVERYONE knows as the truth. Stop lying already !!!

Had japan apologized for the atrocities the Chinese are discussing perhaps there would be no need to make up stories about them. Most cultures teach about the atrocities in war against their people. Perhaps China would consider removing the shows if japan unilaterally put the missing atrocities back in their school texts and stopped going to a shrine that promotes the thanking of war criminals?

It is interesting how the original article states "The 13-1 vote drew an angry", but this version states "The 14-0 vote drew an angry" - You can see the original version in the Washington Post

Why would JT change that? makes this paper look a little fishy, no?

The Coast Guard used it for training purposes. They attacked it like it was an invading Navy. I read that they dont get this type of training often.
