Wait! Halt the Panzers for a moment, i needs to see if they are going to continue to fire their primitive weapons on our superior better equipped more intelligent, better human being position. Yes, they have again again! Panzers forward shnell shnell.

If the Palestinian stopped firing rockets into Israel it will make no difference to their material life. The Israeli occupation will continue and the Palestinian control over their own destiny will become even less assured. At least in this situation they can chose a path even if its a violent one.

It is not in Israel's interest to promote peace in the middle east let alone with the Palestinians. Ahmadinejad for all his lunatic ramblings my be the only leader that truly recognizes this situation. His charge that Israel never negotiate in good faith may not be so far fetch.

Overall peace to the region would require Israel to live by a whole new set of rules. They most certainly would lose their enormous funding from the US and the ability to continue to make claims on Palestinian land significantly curtailed.

The political economy of peace on the Palestinian/Israeli boarder may be driven by other realities far more insidious than meets the eye.

This guy deserve to be hanged by the balls. What he did was an attempted assault on a foreign head of state visiting Iraq. Whatever you may think of Bush it is wrong to assault him.

The Russians making statements about their capability is something I view with skepticism. The last time the Russians were confronted with a crisis most of the hostages ended up dead and even that bundle was deemed a success. They just cant be trusted.

I am sick and tired of these sickos seeking to avenge the so called murder of Iraqis. These murders they have blindly attributed to American and British actions in Iraq, yet they ignore the large amount of casualties being leveled on the Iraqi people by El Qaeda. It really defies logic how young Muslims are so easily sucked in by this fundamentally flawed interpretation of Islam. But what is even more frightening is the lack of outcry from the majority of so called moderate Muslims who remain relatively silent in the face of such madness.

These Iraqis are just laughable. Try doing that at a news conference given by Saddam during his leadership. That reporter would never have been heard from again. And the reporter talking about killing Iraqis, I suggest that he put that question to the terrorist leadership in Iraq. This silly reporter should do jail time as his actions constitute assault.

They may find it difficult to effectively prosecute the major. Conversations about a possible deal is not illegal. It only becomes illegal when the deal is done and the favor is made good on. As far as I can see it is just a lot of talk going back and forth and nothing really has happened. The Senate seat is still out there and the major is yet to do a deal. It is going to be a difficult case for Chicago's chief prosecutor.

Come on guys, don't feel threatened by this, saying it is gay does not reaffirm your manhood. I once had a Japanese girl who wanted me to wear her panties, those laced ones hahaha. It turned her on to no ends, hell i did! It turned me on when she wore my shirt. Whats the big deal I am just too secure in being a heterosexual male to even worry about that kind of thing

Both cops involved are under arrest yet they continue to engage in violence. What is Greek society to do simply allow these people to destroy with impunity. I suspect that some of these protesters are using this incident to settle old scores. If my car was parked on the street and it was firebomb I would not be incline to understand the position of the rioters regardless. Throw their asses in jail, in fact under the jail.

Posted in: O.J. Simpson gets 33 years for armed hotel robbery See in context

If you think the judge and jury weren't out to get OJ you're fools. The judge and jury had the same mentality you're exhibiting here.

Firstly the jury was all white a clear basis for an appeal. The charge would not have been "armed robbery" and "kidnapping" had it been anyone other than OJ.

Thousands of incidents like this happen across the country every day and never is the defendant charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.

Maintaining the integrity of our criminal justice system is far more important than making OJ pay for the two murders he most assuredly committed.

This is not "justice" for Goldman and Nicole. The judge's long, self-indulgent speech about how her sentence has nothing to do with OJ's first trial may be the basis for overturning the verdict. If it has nothing to do with the first trial why did find the need to bring it up?

The property in question is OJ's. If someone steals your wallet and you point a gun at him and take it back, is that armed robbery?

There is no technical basis for the charge. It's simply the wrong charge and thus precisely the kind of prosecutorial misconduct routinely overturned on appeal.

adaydream: whether he was aware or not is beside the point. It is a case of vendetta justice. I suspect that any other person would have been given a lighter punishment for what is effectively a first offense. Also, OJ's co defendant was also given a similar sentence, the proverbial sacrificial lamb in the game to thwart a successful appeal.

American justice system is worst than Japan. The judgment is simply an act of retribution. For a judge to talk about how her decision is not about what OJ was alleged to have done 13 years ago is just ridiculous. We the public are suppose to believe that nose drip.

I never liked the sport anyway, its noisy and unfriendly to the environment. Moreover, it encourages people to drive irresponsibly. I am sure there are better ways of testing the performance of a vehicle or a particular design.

Hannity, the fanatical right wing fox news propagandist have declared that this is now an Obama recession. This guy is obviously smoking crack. Talk about a sour looser. He went on to describe the security team selection as a bad day for America because of Hillery. It makes you wonder if this guy ever really travel anywhere outside America. Does he have any idea how the world feels?

Obama is looking more and more comfortable everyday. The well thought out unscripted responses to questions that are not so predictable. The best of this man is yet to come, i suspect that we will be talking about him 50 years from now, not only as the first first African American president, but one who brought real intellect back to house and made it cool to be commander and chief. A man who single handedly rescued America's pathetic international image from nearly a decade of ridicule and distrust.

I was in a bar last night in Sydney and this one white America guy was the centre of attention. Everyone was buying him drinks because they thought he had something to do with electing Obama. Obama has even made it cool to be white American.
