If trains could run later at least on Fridays and Saturdays and not stop earlier than usual it would be nice. 11:30PM if way too early to decide on a all nighter

I'm so torn by this post. I agree with pretty much everything you say in paragraph 2, but can't get past the defence of Episode 1 in paragraph 1.

Haha I hear you well I did not say it was a great film but those two scenes make it worth for me. Also Liam Neeson perf was great. Midichlorian yeah meh. But if we play close attention they are not the force just an indicator. Ok ok I’m nit-picking. Let’s say it’s one of the worst but it makes more sense with better characters than 7/8 and soon 9

something like Episode 1 is unwatchable.

I actually enjoy it, just Jar Jar should have had less screen time. But Darth Maul fight with that legendary music worth the watch a million time and that sound design and cinematography during the pod race awesome, really felt like a Star Wars movie.

The plot and character development in the new trilogy is asinine. Rey never struggles, we don't know anything about her after 2 full films, she has no purpose, this love between her and Leia is nonsensical, they barely know each other. Only interesting character is Kylo but they will probably screw his spoiler alert most likely death mid-redemption from the dark side while Rey will single-handedly defeat Darth Sidious... It's hard to care about those new characters they introduced, and among all story plots they could shave picked from the books or extended universe they decided to remake the original trilogy from a millennial prospective. Only good stuff in Last Jedi was the final attack scene with the red/white contrast but again spoiled by Rose/Finn "love story". Not looking forward to it at all.

Well if you take into account only non-portable console, Sony has sold more Playsation than Famicom, Super Famicom, N64, Wii, Wii-U and Switch combined.

Posted in: Forcing children to sit 'seiza' style to be recognized as punishment under new law See in context

A lot of comments seem to miss the point. Seiza is not bad in itself and lots of kids will naturally sit this way in Japan. However forcing kids against their will to sit in this (for me very hurtful, but I'm not as flexible as a 5 years old) position for long minutes as punishment is. Some exceptions can be found if you practice martial arts as this is part of the training but you sign up for this stuff.

Posted in: Hollywood tackles toxic masculinity with teen drama 'Waves' See in context

As long as it is not another comic book adaptation, all female cast remake, reboot, sequel nobody wants 20 years after, live action Disney and so on I am fine. But imo words like "toxic masculinity" or "patriarchy" tell me this movie will try to push a SJW agenda...
