New Zealand is fighting an uphill battle now that the administration let the situation get out of control. NZ should be able to stop Covid from spreading there like other countries have.

It would be great to know the real number of positive cases.

It wasn’t New Zealand’s efforts that were successful at first, it was its small population and geography, right?

It spreads even with lockdowns and wearing masks.

The EU and other Western countries’ leaders are embarrassed by any support they had shown the Biden administration and certainly each one recognizes Trump would not have let this situation get chaotic. Unfortunately they did not have a vote in the recent election.

People are mentioning Trump in conjunction with this article? I think the world focus is on this bungling Biden administration. Trump would be relevant if he were president now. Especially since there would not be this chaotic situation. I’m sure everyone realizes that.

Sick to compare Taliban ideology with religious conservatives in US.

Anyone who has seen Biden speak on tv the past few days can see how he looks totally lost, and as a result gives grumpy, defensive, and illogical responses to simple questions. Even the traditionally liberal channels are openly castigating him.

We were all rooting for this administration but have been severely let down. I can only imagine what the next three and a half years hold for the American people,

That was real nice of the local villagers to rush to the crash site to gather the scattered supplies. Maybe try and look for and help any survivors first?

Posted in: Gaza border clashes injure 24 Palestinians, Israeli policeman See in context

My guess is if I threw rocks and explosives at soldiers anywhere in the world , they would rightfully shoot back. Especially if I were with a crowd of hundreds doing the same. Regardless of the circumstances.

Maybe Hamas is getting jealous of all the press the Taliban are getting?

These Palestinians would rather incite the Israelis instead of trying to actually establish a real country.

Maybe I’m different, but I blame the terrorists. Like the ones involved in the Paris attacks in 2015. The 2005 London bombings. 2004 Madrid train bombings. 2008 Mumbai attacks. Just a small sample. And all committed by Islamic terrorist organization members. And neither those countries nor the US, deserved it.
