Best tsukemen I've ever had. Never had the ramen though...

#######9110 is for non-emergency things. Too bad more people don't know about it (I didn't until the other day...).

I always thought the nearest station was Oshiage.

My girlfriend's AU phone earthquake alarm went off about 15 seconds before the quake.

Strange. I have au and I didn't get that here in Tokyo. This one was definitely one of the biggest since 3/11 I'd say. Fairly short but quite strong.

I actually didn't feel it in the Tokyo area though it was a shindo 2. I'm usually pretty sensitive to these and will wake up with a 2 but not at all today.

Really? I'm in Koutou-ku and I definitely woke up from it.

Interesting. I just moved out of Asaka last month to Tokyo.

Wow... I lived in that little city for 2 and a half years before moving last month. I wonder where it was.

This was in Ginza? I was running around Ginza all day yesterday doing a huge scavenger hunt for 6 hours and never saw this, strange.

I don't see why shaking hands and bowing is a bad thing? People in Japan do this all the time.

Yesterday they told me I didn't have to go in since the students were given a day off. I then got woken up by a call today saying they changed their minds. Fun bike ride...

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. He's losing hope that he will never see his child ever again, so sad.

Sebarashii:

You forgot about the monkey show!

I live the next town over so I've been there a couple times. Worth visiting but the view while pretty amazing could be better. The slits are so thin to see out of that you can't see as much as you'd like. You can take pictures but they don't come out at all. Still, pretty cool and so random that Ushiku was chosen for it.
